Yeeeeeeeees!!!!! Didn't want to comment before in case it never happened! All those years I bought Edgar for Palace on fifa and champ manager and it has come true. Next we'll have Del Piero on the wing, Roberto Carlos at LB and and Otega bangin em in up front. I hope I never wake up from this dream.

did anyone see the comment few days ago, i cant remember where i read it, it was on a link, think it was on some football blog but a guy said ' if edgar davids signs for palace he will chop off his fingers and eat them' !! sucks to be him!!

Absolute joke,this guy is over the hill,was unwanted by everyone and we take him on,on god knows how much money?reminds me of juniuno (or whatever his name was at middlesbro) couple years back,as youngster was good but when he returned was a liability,this Davids will be the same,would rather have us looking at younger players with potential than this 37 yr old veteran,he will be easy to by pass and keeping much better players out..GUTTED !!!

I don't know if this has been said already but we have to give a massive hand to GB, the background staff and the chairmen for making this deal happen. To get Edgar Davids on Palace's book is amazing regardless of his age. PLUS.. these two other strikers we have loaned today.

Okay, so I've been on holiday for the past two weeks, no internet connection, got the odd text from my brother with the palace scores, come back and we've signed Edgar bleedin' Davids???? Just to clarify to those who, either are sceptical, or are just as stupefied as I.... EDGAR DAVIDS, WINNER OF A EUROPEAN CUP AND COUNTLESS OTHER TOP ACCOLADES IN EUROPE, IS PLAYING FOR CRYSTAL PALACE!!!!!!!!! ...and it's on meagre wages and he says he just wants to enjoy it, you think you understand Palace and then they throw in the curveball!

Absolutely awesome news. For the first time in my life I'm going to get a shirt with a players name on the back. Davids in the sash will be one of the iconic pics of our renaissance under CPFC2010 and GB. I'm frothing already to see him in a Palace shirt.
