Supermarket staff take them off in staff quarters and once the shop closes. The hysterical ones that say they might be at risk if people aren’t wearing masks make me laugh. It’s all whether the peer group are in or not. Do you think they increase the risk of catching the virus Rudi? Or do youthink that more lefties want you to wear one, so automatically go against them? I only ask as i would have thought you would be pro everybody wearing them outside, just curious , no offence, just asking.

I wonder if New Zealand will get a grip on the outbreak 'again'. There's a fine line between a shrewd move applauded by a nation, and being in the same boat as everyone else just months later.

They remove freedoms and liberties and are a control on people that isn’t necessary and goes against our culture and identity. I don’t care when I see individuals wearing them. I’ve only had one idiot try and give me an evil look. I just stared the minging woman down and shook my head. Others have thanked me for keeping a distance. I assume others in masks don’t. My heart sank when I went to the local shops today since the face cloth measure for a few things. Couldn’t believe what’s happened to their brains. Glad to see 2 local shops I went in weren’t masked up. Being successful shop owners I assume they’re numerate and critical thinkers to know the risks. As I said, it’s risk analysis. As time goes on people move over to the ‘this can’t go on’ side, especially if they need to for financial reasons or because they’ve been amongst people everyday and a mask is going to make no difference. Many already have, like all those supermarket staff. Many think it’s all nuts.

Fair enough, i wear mine in shops only cos i have to, but agree its probably got more germs on it than is good, especially as its a throw away that i haven"t thrown away in 3 weeks!

Something I read the other day: Insisting on your rights without acknowledging your responsibilities isn't freedom, it's adolescence.
