You know full well what I meant. Like Stirlingsays they bury the news and only highlight what they want you to see. In this case trump loosing a court case last night it was headlines on the BBC whereas the Texas situation should have been. Yes the likes of BBC and sky look to be pro Hamas they report their statements like they arnt terrorists. Imagine years ago they reported Taliban statements during the Afghanistan war. Wouldn't get away with it then. Just as well then that you aren’t the BBC’s online news editor isn’t it? Trump didn’t lose a court case. He lost that a while ago. This was to determine the damages. If you don’t think that a former President and current favourite to be the next nominee being fined so much in an effort to install some discipline and respect for the law is not a huge story deserving of front page coverage then you don’t value things very objectively. The Texas Governor playing political games isn’t anything like so important. There has been lots of coverage of Hamas being terrorists. What the attention is on now is the disproportionate response by Israel. That demands reporting Israel’s actions and not those of Hamas.

That though is not Democratic “policy”:is it? It’s the Republican’s trying to play hard ball over releasing funds for Ukraine.

As you state the case was concluded some time ago so that part was old news, the only new reporting being the amount of compensation to be paid! The outcome from the adjudication unfortunately will be a doubling down on both sides! November is a long way off and a million minefields in the way before then On the border, which is more in my backyard I’m interested if 10,000,000 illegals landed in Cornwall what would you do? Is this games or ensuring the problem caused is shared appropriately across the country

I very much doubt that Trump will pay one penny of this. There will be justice however....it's coming one way or the other.

Biden has endorsed it. He has accepted the negotiations. Which is quite different to endorsement. I don’t imagine he likes it at all.

Is this games or ensuring the problem caused is shared appropriately across the country Trump will now double down on the “witch-hunt” and “Biden conspiracy” claims. He would be wise to avoid repeating his stuff about either the plaintiff, the Judge or the Court because the next punishment would see him jailed for contempt. That will go down well with his base, with whom he is untouchable. With the independents I am not so sure. The “witch-hunt” claims look pretty stale, boring and given his behaviour clearly untrue, to anyone with an objective frame of mind. Cornwall is a relatively small place, with only just over 500,000 residents. 10,000,000 illegals could not possibly be accommodated here. They could pass through perhaps but it’s very unlikely they would. The only land border we have is with England and although we would like to keep some of their undesirables out, we cannot. Small boat arrivals are impractical given we face the Atlantic and Newquay airport doesn’t serve anywhere likely to be used by illegals. Distributing the responsibilities though makes sense. The illegals here are dispersed around the country after initial processing whilst their claims are assessed. Reducing the numbers trying to gain entry is essential, but not an easy task. This ought not be a political football but a shared objective between all parties, so that the smuggling gangs can be tackled and the problems managed at source.

When I applied for work I had to have a US company sponsor, show proof of education, apply for visa, biometrics, valid passport, full vaccinations etc. then after 5 years of tax returns apply for citizenship which then took a further 2 years followed by US law testing and pledge allegiance to the flag plus many more hoops! I found that a demanding but normal immigration process! The vast majority who are crossing the border now are economic migrants looking for a different life! The current process doesn’t need any of the above! That sounds broken to me! Why not enforce existing policies would be a good start to solving the issue! Maybe that would be considered stupid today!
