Todays first download is a set by The Tubes that was recorded at the Palace Of Fine Arts, San Francisco on the 21st April 1977. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch - it's easily the best quality boot by this band that I've heard. Some great tracks on this one "What Do You Want From Life" "Mondo Bondage" "Don't Touch Me There" and the bands anthem song "White Punks On Dope". If you like The Tubes you will want this one.... I've posted loads of bootlegs by this band over the years - this is another good one that is thoroughly recommended... An extra download today and a bootleg that has been put together by a fan and features Rival Sons. I must admit I had never heard of them until I spotted this show and thought I'd check it out.. I'm glad I did - they are excellent. The first part of the bootleg is from a gig they did in Stockholm on 17.11.11 and part two is a mix from 3 songs from a BBC session on 23.6.12 and 3 from the Pinkpop Festival in Holland on 23.5.12. If you don't know this band - give them a try! Todays first download is a set by Franz Ferdinand that was recorded at the Eurosonic Festival in Gronengen, Netherlands in January 2004. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the gig. I've only posted a few bootlegs by this band in the past - I've not seen that many good quality ones. This is a good one with a top setlist which features tracks from the bands self titled first album. This is thoroughly recommended.... According to my files, this is the first bootleg by this band that I've posted and I've only posted a couple of studio released albums. This is a good set though and if you like The Maccabees you will want this one.... An extra download today and the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted and I know nothing about them. The band is called "Moon Martin & The Clones" and they have been around since the 1970's. John David "Moon" Martin is the leader of the band and they've done several albums over the years. Moon Martin is probably most famous for writing the song "Bad Case Of Loving You" (Doctor, Doctor) which was a hit for Robert Palmer and also "Cadillac Walk" made famous by Willy DeVille. This band rock and this is a really good set. "Moon" Martin got his nickname because many of his songs had the word "Moon" in the lyrics!.. If you don't know this band - give them a try... it's good stuff...
