Presumably you include yourself and WE in that last paragraph? No, I think we tend to accept that the scientists in general are usually more informed than us. It is with the poorly informed that we debate, and especially those that pretend to be well informed. The level of conspiracy theory and debunking of science for political reasons on this site and presumably within social media more generally is just unbelievable. Trump is such a great example of knowingly confusing the points by throwing out totally unfounded criticisms, just VERY LOUDLY.

Government spending billions buying up hundreds of millions of different vaccines that are obviously untested past the required levels of testing.

So despite them having a more relaxed attitude to lockdown the death stats are actually better than here and when you also take into account that they ballsed up the care home protection early on which caused a large proportion of their deaths, they are actually way ahead of us. Interesting how selective your reading is. The UK has been a complete disaster, especially in Care Homes. Why not compare with Sweden's peers, as is done in the article? Oh, I know, because it doesn't suit your narrative.

Oh, I know, because it doesn't suit your narrative. I might’ve misunderstood your point but Sweden’s care homes were disastrous as well. Most were apart from Germany because they had instant testing available. You can criticise either that or PPE more.
