Todays first download is a set by Steely Dan that was recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon, London in 2000. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. This file is a continuous mp3 file and not in seperate tracks. It's a great set though with some classic tracks being played. Good quality SD boots are rare, so I grab them whenever I spot them - regardless of whether they are seperate tracks or not. If you like Steely Dan you will want this one..... Todays first download is a set by Slade that was recorded in Nottingham on the 16th December 1981. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM Broadcast on Radio Trent. The band had played a few other festivals during 1981 and had blown crowds away at Donnington and Reading with top performances. Some great stuff on this one including "Gudbye T'Jane" "Mama Weer All Crazee Now" and as this show is near Christmas it features Noddy's annual pension fund cheque "Merry Christmas Everybody"... A must have for Slade fans... Todays second download is a set by Elvis Presley that was recorded in Charlotte, North Carolina in March 1976. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've posted a few bootlegs by EP over the years - this is another top show. In the 70's artists would perform 2 shows a night - this is the early evening show and has a wicked setlist which includes the classics "Hound Dog" "All Shook Up" and "Polk Salad Annie". If you like Elvis - this is thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is another set from this years iTunes Festival in London. This is the set by Madness and this is in superb quality - the audio has been taken from a webcast of the show and sounds top notch. Some classics on this one by Suggs and co.. starting with "One Step Beyond" and including "My Girl" "House Of Fun" and "Baggy Trousers". This is a wicked Madness set and is thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a set by Cry Of Love that was recorded in the Netherlands at Hengelo on 28th May 1994. This is in superb quality - a really outstanding soundboard recording. This band were only together for 8 years between 1989 to 1997 and they released two albums in that time and a few singles. This band were about touring and playing live.. and I believe I've posted a couple of boots by them in the past. This is a great set and they play their biggest hit single "Peace Pipe"... this band rock big time - this is thoroughly recommended... Hi staffie Enjoyed the B-Movie album - Nowhere Girl was always one of my faves! A request for an easy listening album from 1971 by the diminuative Paul Williams. It's called "Just an Old Fashioned Love Song" & contains the standard "We've only just begun" Would be great if you could track it down. Cheers
