The Tory demise was started by deciding to face down UKIP and call a referendum. They feared seeing the party split as it needed to split and self-interest overcame national duty. We ended up with the worst possible outcome. The Tories still splitting, as they must, and us leaving the EU which should have been avoided. They should have accepted that their Eurosceptic wing would peel away and have been tough with them. Make the arguments strongly in favour of the EU positively and forcefully both inside and outside Parliament. Not just leave it to the electorate to bail them out. Now we will end up with a decimated Tory party, a few more Lib Dems, a token number of noisy Reform and a Labour Party whose majority means they can do whatever they want. Not sensible. Or, Cameron made the huge mistake of giving the public an opportunity to express their opinion and put a spanner in the works rather than be subjected to the will of globalists determined to make themselves richer and more powerful at the expense of the majority.

They did and continue to do. Every 5 years. That's how parliamentary democracy works. We don't have plebiscites on single issues. We only held the stupid referendum so the Tories could get rid of UKIP nibbling at them. Look how that has turned out. And every 5 years none of the parties had removing the UK from the EU as part of their plans if they were elected. That is why the public didn’t get a chance to voice their objections. Every EU treaty, every expansion, every political addition to the EU’s power was never put to the public as a good idea by the political parties. So forgive me if I don’t agree that your form of democracy works best for the public. Parliament was either totally out of touch with public fears or it chose to deliberately ignore them.
hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing. |

I see so many tattooed types when I go out, it's disturbing. It's like an open prison. I really hate women with tattoos on their legs, it looks revolting. Some of these people may well be really nice, but you judge them instantly when you see skin covered in ink.

The tories are now using the classic a vote for reform is a vote for labour ploy. Sadly that wont work this time as everyone knows that labour are a shoe in. I'm hopeful that reform numbers increase gradually and that some of the undecided's also join the fold. I haven't voted labour since the 70's when their promises were completely empty and they increased tax even on a lowly apprentice like myself. 33% tax and 6% NI. Sadly, I think every now and then the public need their eyes opened to what labour does. B Lair was not labour, he was tory light.

This obsession to blame a mythical group of globalists for every conceivable sin is just another conspiracy theory. Quite an amusing one though, given its complete lack of substance. Often used as a code for anti-Semitic sentiment the term has been popularised by the likes of Bannon and taken up by populists like Trump and Le Pen as bogeymen. We live in a different, smaller and ever shrinking world in which international cooperation is essential. It is to be embraced, not demonised. That it needs to be regulated to ensure it serves the common interest only strengthens the need for rules based systems. It won’t ever be perfect but it’s here to stay. That’s not globalists conspiring to milk us at every turn. It’s the globalisation of a modern technological world.

I'm not really interested in their religious beliefs myself. Globalism is all about power and money. 'Cooperation' is a euphemism for political influence, expanding markets, cheap labour and more profit.
