Typical Parish. Hear nothing all the time things are going badly. We scrape a lucky win and he's straight on Twitter being smug.

To be fair I were sitting a few seats away from Parish yesterday, when we scored our second goal he was Giving it the big one waving back to all the united fans leaving early which lead to a load of stewards stopping fans jumping over the banisters to the directors seats. Was a joy to watch as it p*ssed a lot of United fans off, true fan at heart in my eyes. Let’s just enjoy this moment.

I’m surprised at him for doing this, but I guess beating United in their own backyard brought the emotions out in him.

But probably explains why AWB money didn’t get spent. There is a certain amount of risk involved in running any Premier League football with then exception of the big six who can afford to buy their way out of trouble. Parish has taken a huge gamble in not replacing Wan-Bissaka or Batshuayi which could pay off financially or if he loses the gamble it could cost the club £150m per year in income if we are relegated. Parish has gambled before and has always won but his luck will run out one day

Parish has gambled before and has always won but his luck will run out one day It is the model of plausibility that he wasn't gambling and that he was in a position whereby the money simply couldn't be spent on replacements for the players mentioned.

Interview with Martin Samuel for those who doubt he knows what he is doing. He sure does when it comes to negotiating and dealing, when he is dealing (or not with certain gaps in the team) ‘'We were that close to being Bury. The country was deep in recession, there were no buyers and we were lucky to be allowed to remain in administration from January to June.' This was not something he was forced to do but chose to do. He probably felt he had to get rid of Jordan but to say the club went to the brink and 2010 didn’t make that decision isn’t quite how it went. It’s smart, and I don’t blame 010/him for doing so, but it wasn’t how it sounds in that comment.

Parish has had and made a huge amount of luck and good decisions since he took over Palace. One bad decision not helped by subsequent bad luck has been the purchase of our two main strikers, Benteke and Wickham. Obviously failure in such a key position becomes frustrating for the fans.
