Unbelievably uncoordinated lack of atmosphere.. lost our focal point. Looking at the holmesdale from the Whitehorse was like looking at load of strangers, and then hearing the scousers larging it unchallenged was soul destroying.

Have the HF really given up their tickets so definitely gone, or are they just turning up in civvy clothes and acting normal as a protest??

Club needs to find a solution, otherwise it'll be eagles eagles eagles occasionally as the best we can muster

HF not being there was a much bigger loss than the majority on here expected. As much as I wouldn’t want to sit right next to it, the drum was sorely missed as the timing of any chants/songs that did get going were out of time and all over the shop.
Shame that something so good could come to such an ending and couldn’t be worked out by both the club and the fanatics.

On TV it didn't sound as bad as I thought it would. Liverpool were loud, but that was the same as last season.

That being said, I miss the HF greatly. Seeing no flags or shouting fans in the corner is depressing.

Aside from the songs and atmosphere, the HF devoted a lot of time, energy, and their own personal money to the club over the past few years.

I sympathize with the fans behind the goal who didn't want to move, but at some point the club could have negotiated all of this somehow, whether through money, tickets, other considerations.

The fact that the club didn't even try to accommodate their best supporters is clearly a mistake, and now it's too late, because the HF is never coming back.

To be honest, Brighton was just as loud against MU.

Liverpool are loud wherever they go... They always have been.

Anyone who genuinely believes that the HF make the difference to our home record is, in my opinion, stupid... Let's not forget it was only a couple of seasons ago where we won 2 games at home all season and that was with the HF in full voice.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

got to admit, it was weird seeing multiple colours of t shirts and dress code in the corner on tv - it didn't look right - sure, it was only 100 people, but it was that 100 that got stuff started, flowing and loud.

I hope something gets sorted.

Not sure how much it affects the players. Many have mentioned the great atmosphere at palace when signing contracts.
Even the sky commentators mentioned that the atmosphere was not as good. Our reputation as one of the best in the country has now gone.

I was in block A and thought it was decent. Loud most of the game and really loud when everyone was letting Salah know that he was a James Hunt. Not much different to usual , those around me thought the same.

Was in the Arthur Block Y last night, atmosphere was pretty good and the Arthur and those and blocks A and B tried hard to keep it going.
From an overseas supporters point of view, miss the flags and the spectacle of the HF, and I gotta tell you it’s bloody hard work singing, screaming and shouting for 90 minutes. Feel like I’ve been thru the ringer today.
I bet it was hard for HF in attendance, scattered around the ground, as they were, to sit on their hands and see what was missing. I for one, and I know there are many who don’t agree, hope we find a way to get them back, and soon.

Atmosphere was decent as it was an evening game and first of the season.

However, don't care what anyone says, we missed the HF. People who can't stand them and say they add nothing were proved wrong yesterday!

They lift the atmosphere to a place rarely seen at English grounds. The club and the HF (as they are no angels here) need to sort this out. Seems such a waste of a USP.

Atmosphere very below par last night.

We sung our whole song book in the first 10 minutes then large lulls throughout the game. Different songs being sung all over the place and lots of speeded up versions.

Oh how good was it to hear such classics such as shagging Will Young pathetic.

Thought we were better than that.

The atmosphere was awful and will get worse now we've lost the thing that made us stand out from the crowd.

Little pockets of noise with the songs petering out really fast with no leadership or continuity. Negative chants including racist stuff about salah, homophobic will young and pro tommy robinson crap . That's not palace.

Embarrassing and needs sorting by the club asap.
