Yeah, you're right. It is probably quite unlikely, Pardew was toxic at Newcastle. A very different situation to Dyche at Burnley, who would face a fan revolt if they let him walk to a club they will see as a direct rival (i.e. not necessarily and upwards move by him). Burnley will need compensation in order to pay for Dyche's replacement.
We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football. |

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Sean Dyche is the best man for the job!' by Guntrisoft Even if it takes a lot more than what it took for Pardew, i think we should pay it. I know it's ambitious, and i don't expect it to happen, but we should try it. It really would bring stability to us (and maybe Michael Keane too haha) Originally posted by Ray in Houston

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Sean Dyche is the best man for the job!' by Guntrisoft Dyche has been there few years now. His squad, not spent big but spent a few bob only two wins or rather two losses from relegation. I like him but don't think he is what we should be looking for. I don't know why if I am honest just underwhelming

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Sean Dyche is the best man for the job!' by Guntrisoft Unless Dyche was unhappy with his situation at Burnley why do people think he would jump ship ? We're Crystal Palace not Barce bloody lona.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Sean Dyche is the best man for the job!' by Guntrisoft He would be a safe bet, although from all the reading Silva is a similarly defensive minded coach with more attacking flair. I'd be happy with either, rather Dyche than Mancini.

I don't know why if I am honest just underwhelming I agree totally. It really would be an uninspiring appointment that would demonstrate not the slightest ambition on our part. Come on, this is our fifth season for goodness sake.

He came bloody close to leaving Pardew's dismissal until too late and arguably he should have given him the tintack the day after Wembley.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Gary Monk' by Guntrisoft As mentioned elsewhere this bottle job would be a terrible appointment and if Silva won't sign I hope the odds are wrong in suggesting that there are no better other choices. Hopefully Parish is making suitable use of the telephone.
