You mean like he did when he pretended he was a Remainer? Firstly politicians have always argued for individual policies they dont agree with because politics is a team game. in any case I dont recall Corbyn ever expressing a personal view in favour of Remain (much to the annoyance of the Labour campaiign to stay in) but articulated the Labour Party position which was in favour of remain.

Yet you take the opposite stance on Diane Abbott and schools?

The European parliament is to investigate the British government’s treatment of EU nationals living in the UK who have applied for citizenship or permanent residency since the Brexit vote. Task force being set up will liaise with the brexit EU negotiator Mr. Barnard.

I've asked for examples of Dianne Abbott's racism. You said context is a lefty answer. And to say context isn't important is facile.
So you are accusing someone of something but want me to find evidence of it.

I disagree with you on 3. Given her views and her position in the Labour Party to say she gets a free pass because she can afford "better" is ridiculous. I have rather more respect for Corbyn who stuck to his principles even at the cost of his relationship splitting up. There are no circumstances where I would send my children to fee-paying schools. I despise them. What I might do is move house to a place where there are better (state) schools. To be fair to Diane Abbott she acknowledges the hypocrisy. She says she knew when she made the decision she would get slated for it but decided having seen the schools in her constituency she couldn't justify putting her politics (or credibility) above his education. She'll never live it down and nor does she expect to.

She's by no means perfect, but if she was racist, do you think that she would be able to hold down a position in the shadow cabinet without the press having an even bigger field day?
