'Nothing should be allowed to stand in the way of doing what is necessary.'

'Of course the deep state is a fantasy'.

Nice paradoxical statements there.

I mean we have direct evidence of power bases within the state directly deliberately frustrating policies and hiding information from presidents.

But apparently the deep state doesn't exist.

Sigh.

This is yet another Shangri-La situation. Everybody knows those elements need to be targeted and dealt with but no one has a clue how to do it. These "solutions" are no more helpful than going to a drought stricken area and suggesting they make it rain.

That it’s difficult doesn’t undermine the need to do it. It just demands even more determination.

But until we know who needs to be targeted and what action needs to be taken this is no more than saying "something needs to be done".
What are the advantages for whoever "they" are in going along with this scheme?

The “deep state” is simply an attempted diversion by the right to avoid legitimate concerns expressed by those in a position to observe them. It’s yet another conspiracy theory. Particularly spread by Trump.

There is no evidence at all of any “power bases within the state frustrating policies and hiding information from presidents”. What there is evidence of is of people doing their duty.

No it isn’t. Identifying who needs to be targeted is just the first step. Those causing problems don’t need to go along with it. They just need to be identified.

Then what happens?

That depends on what’s necessary. Law breakers get prosecuted. The misinformed and misled get helped.

Not sure what help could be involved but it does beg the question - why aren't law breakers being prosecuted now?

A reminder that a significant portion of Democrat voters are unhinged.

I am sure they are, when evidence of crime is discovered. Identifying problem people, groups of people or worrying trends could uncover other evidence or discourage some crime. A collaborative, softly softly, approach with some can pay dividends.

It seems to me someone has been messing around with a 2 year old poll to paint a particular political picture. I had never seen this before or the questions asked. Both the questions and the answers are much more nuanced than the “summary “ and the only real surprise the level of Republican support. Are they unhinged too?

Here is the actual report:-

Both Stephen Schwarzman, Blackstone CEO and Jamie Dimon, JPMorgan Chase CEO have been heard being critical of Biden at Davos.

Both are highly influential....especially Blackstone as it's the world's largest private equity firm.

This could be a signal toward Trumpism, where global bankers start to position themselves for the new probable political realities where wokeness & bureaucratic bloat become the new whipping boys.
