Nor does it count the utter huge waste of money we give to the French for them to laugh at us and let the boats come anyway. Sunak nor Cleverly will do nothing, it's performative as they don't really care....it's all lies and Jam tomorrow with the left of the conservatives. Lying has worked for them for decades and they aren't going to change. Edited by Stirlingsays (15 Nov 2023 2.53pm) Of course it is. A poor and damaging attempt to appeal to liberal populism, an obvious and even more obviously doomed attempt at placation of the right, no real identity beyond a weak, incompetent and failing party and thus a country that falls and fails. I maintain of course Labour offer no solutions here so it is a collective failure all round. We're waiting on or hoping for miracles as a populace. Good luck to that.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Yep, Labour are an utter s***eshow, it's like choosing between having to suffer different types of diarrhea.

Both Sunak and Braverman knew full well that the current laws would disallow the Rwanda plan. If that fails for whatever reason, we will then change the law in a way that will get through Parliament. It will be the Tories last gambit to avoid electoral wipe out. He should do the right thing and resign. Firstly, what about the 140 million him and his sidekick have blown on all this, for just 200 places? Now he wants to re-start all this, it is bound to take a year plus all the legal challenges. It's vanity, it is not worth it. A GE is the best way forward, he is not elected anyway his pledges maybe a little on inflation but it was going to fall anyway, but the rest are 'dead in the water'.

The world renowned fascists of Denmark can send illegal immigrants to Rwanda and Britain can't. Who exactly does anyone think would be sent there? Any semblance of a real asylum need and they wouldn't be sent. Talk about being played for fools.

He only came into Parliament (Like Starmer) in 2015, parachuted into one of the safest Tory seats in the country, taking over William Hagues consituency. He is, like Starmer, a fully paid-up Globalist stooge.
And only Reform can bring this to the table with any credibility.

I think that we are starting to see that all MP's are odious characters. With the benefit of technology giving us the ability to communicate this amongst ourselves in real time and see that a lot of people are also starting to realise this, you have to wonder how long they are going to be able to keep having our pants down. Couldn’t agree more with your first sentence. Although my local MP seems to be very good on local issues and always replies to any queries.

Home secretary claims he does not remember if he made disparaging comments about the government’s Rwanda plan. (He called it bats***). Won't draw a line on it, will he.

I'm still waiting to here what the opposition solution is? Apart from the usual BS about working closely with our EU allies.
