A poor and damaging attempt to appeal to liberal populism, an obvious and even more obviously doomed attempt at placation of the right, no real identity beyond a weak, incompetent and failing party and thus a country that falls and fails.

I maintain of course Labour offer no solutions here so it is a collective failure all round. We're waiting on or hoping for miracles as a populace. Good luck to that.

Both Sunak and Braverman knew full well that the current laws would disallow the Rwanda plan.
Now we will see a rejig where we send our own people to Rwanda to set up a proper refugee system that will try to satisfy our courts.

If that fails for whatever reason, we will then change the law in a way that will get through Parliament.
This will all no doubt be timed to happen just before an election is called.

It will be the Tories last gambit to avoid electoral wipe out.

I think that we are starting to see that all MP's are odious characters. With the benefit of technology giving us the ability to communicate this amongst ourselves in real time and see that a lot of people are also starting to realise this, you have to wonder how long they are going to be able to keep having our pants down.
