Also if there is a £50m war chest, I would expect at least £40m of it to come from the sale of Wilf because I can't see where else it will come from otherwise.

Don’t think we will be paying compo to Burnley for Dyche

Either Roy stays on or it’s someone out of work such as our mate Eddie

After listening to a Defoe interview I would hope we don't go near Eddie. Defoe was quote scathing about Howe and the way he struggles with senior players. I think I'd prefer Eddie the Eagle.

This is a 'lagging indicator'. I suspect that the wages this year will be lower albeit so will revenue. And wages will be lower again next year without some of the senior players currently in the squad.

With the Toon winning 2-1 it could be Scotty Parker with Gary Cahill player and defensive coach..... or not!

Always remembering walking from the Holmesdale to the Whitehorse end at half time!

Over the past 2-3 years Fulham have spent a lot and then loaned players we certainly can’t afford and yet still languish in the bottom 3.

Why are so many people clamouring for Scott Parker?

Howe and Dyche are more experienced and achieved more. Parker seems to be style over substance. A poor man’s Brighton.

Would we really want a manager who's just seen his club relegated? Don't think I would.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

I am not clamouring for Parker especially but I am certainly doubtful about Howe. Talk about style over substance!!! Mind you if he takes over at Palace he at least has experience in relegating teams from the EPL!

If I am going to I put money on anything it would be a further one year contract for Roy. Mind you who really knows what Parrish is thinking - not me for sure!!

I think we need a change. Roy has done brilliantly, but the style of football has deteriorated to an extent that I doubt even Roy will keep us up playing like this again with a ageing squad.

You’re sort of right about Howe, but at least he kept Bournemouth up for a few years and Parker looks like he will fail in that.

Yes God knows what Parish is thinking, but I hope at least there is some shake up this summer, because over the last couple of months there have been so many pathetic performances from the team.
