Had the DNC got their act together and had Biden engaged what few brain cells he has left, there would be another candidate lined up to replace Biden as the Democratic candidate. Pretty much any moderate to conservative candidate with a clean track record would trounce Trump at the general election as there are just so many red necks and white Christian evangelicals out there. Edited by silvertop (16 Jan 2024 12.28pm) I'm not so sure that any Democratic option who supported what Biden has done economically would 'trounce' Trump if only because a lot of the poor equate Trump with their dollar being able to buy more. However, it's probable that a 'clean skin' would have a better chance of beating Trump that's true. Many people think Biden is going to step down late....maybe....I'm not so sure about that personally. I think a lot is going on in the background that people just aren't aware of.

Edited by silvertop (16 Jan 2024 12.28pm) I remain convinced there is another candidate in the wings, just waiting for the most opportune moment to be put in the spotlight. Until then Trump and his bunch of nut job backers can spill their bile over Biden. Who it might be I can only guess but I have a feeling it might be a big surprise. Someone all the Democrats can get behind as well as the bulk of the independents and even those Republicans who doubt Trump. The fat lady hasn’t even got into her costume yet.

Fair amount of speculation that Trump will name Huckabee Sanders as his VP running mate.

Even when we mostly run Hollywood....we are the victims. We aren't white (which is a massive generalisation they make here) and get Whitey. [Tweet Link]
