At least Iran has the right idea - falsifying them to look better. We appear to be falsifying ours to make us look worse, by reporting people as coronavirus deaths when they have died WITH coronavirus and not necessarily BECAUSE of it.

Would have happily, and still will, accept rubbishing my post because I struggled to write it down without cringing and yet...something is not right with this entire debacle. Wish I could put my finger on it but everything has this sense of being almost narrated and towards what end game I do not know.

I am 90% convinced now this virus did not just evolve naturally. I do not think it was a deliberate release and have always leaned towards the cock-up rather than conspiracy narrative of history, on every level, but 2020 feels so bloody weird. Nothing feels right about anything anymore.

Not so much that the rug has been yanked from under our feet but defintiely a sense that somebody is trying to do so.

Oh well, lets see. We are still right in the middle of the storm and until the wind has finally died down, its impossible to truly ascertain the level of damage caused. Let alone think about the rebuilding.

An interesting theory. If this has been engineered by the Chinese, they would unlikely engineer something that would wipe out their people, hence their rates are allegedly low and they have already vaccinated their military.
The key to a cure, if this is factual, would be to understand why it isn’t causing damage to Chinese genetics and re-engineer?
If this isn’t true the key is still to understand who if effects most and least and why, I would suggest.

It's a two way street and logically lots of deaths that are due to covid-19 will be missed too. If you look to our excess deaths we've got it right or if anything are somewhat under-reporting.

I'm not sure that falsely under reporting is 'getting it right'. It looks like the US is now going down that route too though, with the CDC being cut out of the loop and the numbers going straight to the whitehouse.

It would be tremendously difficult to unleash a virus that was intentionally very damaging for one race, and yet others breezed through it, because as much as some won't like it, we are all genetically very similar. Besides, viruses mutate, and that is entirely out of our control. Releasing a virus like that would be dumb because the eventual outcome could end up being the complete opposite of the initial intention.

I wouldn't rule out that it escaped from a facility, though at the same time it's something that is inevitable when you create a scientific experiment on the outside too, which is basically what these wet markets are, with cages piled up full of animals that would never typically come into contact with one another.
