On Friday, all 57 members of the Buffalo Police Department Emergency Response Team resigned from their special unit positions. This is in solidarity with the two suspended officers from the incident where a man who stepped into their path was pushed over. It's unacceptable that Police officers are going to be asked to response to emergencies and incidents yet are then thrown to the wolves everytime something unpleasant occurs when people interfere. Real life isn't Disney and the context matters and in my view nothing inappropriate was done here. Once a warning is given, if you block a path, you can expect to be shoved out of the way or arrested or both. Frail fools shouldn't stand in front of marching Police. Because the truth doesn't matter.

LA Galaxy release player after his wife makes racist comments on Instagram. Guilty by association I guess. Edited by Badger11 (06 Jun 2020 5.40pm)

Edited by Badger11 (06 Jun 2020 5.40pm) If they have legitimately let him go due to something his wife said, in his shoes I'd sue. And while I'm at it I'd mull over the drawbacks of putting my d!ck in crazy.

It's no yellow vests yet, but these things always have the potential to kick off. The police presence looks a bit thin on the ground.
