It would not be surprising if when a President tried to illegally cling to power and refuse to acknowledge a democratic decision by the people for groups of the people to organise themselves to resist. Whose fault is that? Those who try to overturn democracy or those who try to defend it?

Remember who the people are who talk about democracy when it's the people they like being in power and talk about resistence when it's people they don't like. I could see and was talking about the break up of America years ago and was told it was never going to happen. However, people have been changing their minds as the obvious becomes undeniable. Conspiracy theories indeed......common sense more like. The Democrats aren't Democrats. They won't abide the treatment they dished out being put onto them. Tough....justice is coming Coltrane. Trump was making noises about the voting machines being tampered with and postal votes being harvested well before election day. He was announcing his intention to try to retain power come what may before a vote was cast. That people then decided to prepare to have to resist that is completely to be expected. Nor is it surprising that people like Mike Benz are spreading conspiracy theories about the military getting involved. It’s what he does. The military would not get directly involved. The senior commanders would try to reason with and curtail Trump and to even threaten mass resignation if he failed to listen. The Justice Department too and even the Supreme Court, despite its dominance by conservatives. They all respect the Constitution above the personality of whoever happens to be the current President. Congress is less certain. If full of Trump sycophants he might have them on a string, but the separation of powers exists and is there for a reason. People like Trump being that reason.

If Trump comes to power and decides to use the military to stop protests in accordance with presidential powers....if military commanders do not follow orders (resigning is acceptable) then that is treason. Spicy. Personally my thoughts are that the military doesn't have the critical mass of leftists required for anything like this to work....some of the military leadership support the Democrats (Milley) the grass roots of any military are nationalistic.....which is the polar opposite of progressive ideology. If Trump comes to power I'd be highly surprised if he doesn't have a mass clear out anyway. I don't see him being as trusting this time round.....People like Milley lied to him and that's going to have consequences. What Benz and others are uncovering are networks planning the subvert and pressure this very situation. I think the military will try hard to stay out of it....however if push comes to shove they won't do the Democrat's dirty work. They will have to resort to their usual Antifa/BLM criminals for that.

The US President cannot use the military against its own people on US soil. They can use the National Guard in very specific and limited circumstances to counter an insurrection or rebellion. Stopping protests are not part of those powers. The military don’t support either the Republicans or the Democrats. Which one individual members support is unknown and irrelevant. Their duty is to the constitution. What people like Benz are doing is spreading conspiracy theories by taking small, obvious and predictable developments and blowing them up into huge plots. All such things are done to further distort the truth and wind up the gullible. Very few in the UK will be taken in by this. It’s unfortunate that some of them post here but given the dominance of weird political views here it’s also no surprise.

The national guard is obviously what is being referred to when putting down internal rest. The US army can be used against those deemed internal enemies.....I believe it's part of their oath. I agree it's unlikely that they will want to become involved.....However, I can't guarantee that their hands won't be forced by events....none of us can be certain what happens post election but it sure won't be nothing......it could get pretty wild. Who knows how far it could go.....Not that I personally think that Democrat or Republican states should ever be forced to remain in a union against their will. Benz is referring to actual documents created by these networks. He isn't lying.....however the usual suspects will fluff for the party of Biden until the back of their throat goes numb. Just when you think the bottom of the depths of deceit have finally been reached another “copy and paste” list of dodgy assertions, probably prepared by a basement dwelling right wing nerd without a proper job, pops up and is dutifully repeated here. This one is so nonsensical that it doesn’t require a detailed analysis. It’s just a bunch of standard Trump style “Big Lies”. Repeat them often enough and even the more balanced will start to have doubts is the tactic. Russian collusion wasn’t real? The Covid lab leak was? The Steele dossier was all lies? Jan 6th didn’t happen? How often have these claims been made? Are they now replacing the truth? Russian collusion wasn’t proved, but there remains good reason to believe it existed. The origin of Covid remains unknown. The Steele dossier contained many things, some of which were acknowledged as speculative, but together were support for the alarm bells already being sounded in the ears of the security forces. Jan 6th did happen. How it’s described is rather less important.

The list came from GOP candidate Vivek Ramaswamy. Everything there has been shown to have been either lies by Democrats or their supporters in the media or has been shown to be so exaggerated that it operates as dishonesty. The Steele dossier as just one example, was not acknowledged as being speculation when it came out at all. That is nothing but dishonesty. The Steele dossier was pushed aggressively and treated like the truth....like many of the lies that happened. I literally watched a guy that the BBC bought on....meant to know Steele and be involved in those circles say that this was a trustworthy source. We later find out of course that the Clinton campaign paid this patsy for what we saw. Nothing illegal was provable other than some location dates.....it was intended to smear and be an effective 'hate' device for the Democrats to use with their voters and any independents they could trick.....this is apparently the regular MO of the Democrat party. The list above exposures these people for what they are....pond life....Unfortunately some of that pond life are dishonest by nature but have some ability and thus have done well by fleecing from those they detest. Well you can probly find more lies in a single speech by Trump that the supposedly lies in your list. Debating this topic is so pointless because the truth is treated with contempt by so many of the parties involved. If you shout something loud and frequently enough you'll recruit believers. "Facts" are meaningless because they can't be reliably believed.
I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything. |
