It is the right, like most but not all, of HOL posters, that she appeals to, but the polls and string of by-election defeats to the libdems and labour show the direction of conservatives and undecideds as being moderate and centrist. The public also now favour immigration, they have moved on. But most of all, hopefully they want to end 13 years of appalling government.

I would be interested to peruse the source of this assertion. A poll from Sep this year revealed : 74% - Immigration reduced/stay the same.

No, not true, I would say. There is a conversation to be had about immigration/asylum seekers/boats etc but imo it needs to be a civilised, grown -up, nuanced one not predicated on the grounds of prejudice or some spurious 'replacement' theory.
