And what exactly does Mr.George W. think he and his advisors are doing telling his troops and military to avoid London? Looks like we`re the leaders in this campaign.

Probably because they are almost as likely to be targets as some muslims will be in the wake of the attacks.

I know a number of American who have been abused after opening their mouths in London. Now don't get me wrong, some American deserve it. Apparently the ban was lifted. I checked and it was purely for safey reasons. Edited by NickinOX (12 Jul 2005 5:41pm)

Shortly after September 11 2001, when the slightest mention of a link between US foreign policy and the terrorist attacks brought accusations of heartless heresy, the then US national security adviser, Condoleezza Rice got to work. Between public displays of grief and solemnity she managed to round up the senior staff of the National Security Council and ask them to think seriously about. ETC

Edited by Balham Burner (12 Jul 2005 5:30pm) So that's who I've been arguing with. I thought their journalism was shoddy. The good spelling threw me off the scent.

I'm very sorry. I know how I felt when waiting to hear from friends and relatives, both in New York and in London.

I bet you're happy. At least I now know why his arguments did not add up properly. By the way, you never responded to my question about vicious rumours. Not that I can remember what it is. Edited by NickinOX (12 Jul 2005 8:13pm)

We've played with Vicious Rumours in Belgium, not really my cup of tea, but nice enough blokes, although I think they've packed it in now. Why, do you know them or something Nick or are you a bit of an old punk?

A mate of mine was a fan. I went with him to see them when they supported SLF about 15 years ago. Just wondered if you knew them. I thought you might have played on the same circuit. More like a punk wannabe. I am too young to claim that. New wave, before the new Romantic crap was my age group, and the SKA revival as I was living in the midlands at the time.
