So the motivation behind anti-Trump rhetoric is perfectly acceptable. What is "anti-Trump" rhetoric? Most of what I see and hear is perfectly legitimate observation and criticism. Decent men and women everywhere want nothing to do with him. Those politicians, and journalists, who make public supportive statements are clearly doing so to further their own interests. Catch them in private, and you generally hear something completely different. However, as it's impossible to judge anyone's motivation for doing anything without knowing a lot more detail it's also impossible to say it's acceptable.

But it's easy to determine Tommy Robinson's motivation for getting involved in the grooming problem and it was in no way concern for the girls involved.

Yes because, like we do with Trump, the evidence is there in plain sight. I said without knowing more detail and, with Yaxley-Lennon we know enough. He has history.

I politely refuse to ever debate with a JW. If you truly believe that my attitude resembles a JW I suggest you adopt a similar strategy. I won't be offended, just as I am sure the JWs aren't with me. I have absolutely no wish to try to convert someone as intransigent as you are. Someone who, despite patient and detailed explanation, refuses to acknowledge the even most basic of facts. You are a lost cause. So don't "debate" with me. I will continue to post observations on any spurious claims, but you have no need to join in. That's just the sort of thing that JWs say when they debate with me! It's difficult to decide who is more daft, you or Joe Biden. Edited by georgenorman (01 Apr 2023 8.06am)

Edited by the silurian (01 Apr 2023 7.36am) It started with a claim that evidence the vaccine might be harmful had been published for the wrong reasons.

Edited by georgenorman (01 Apr 2023 8.06am) As Joe Biden is a long way from being "daft", I'll take that as a compliment. Now if you wanted to enter a "daftness" contest I think the other contestants would all withdraw immediately, as the winner would be a foregone conclusion.

It started with a claim that evidence the vaccine might be harmful had been published for the wrong reasons. That was not though what that letter said. That's just the way that those with a particular agenda seek to interpret it. There is a huge difference between something that might be harmful and something that possibly could be. That's not just semantics either.
