Just for clarity; the Algerian boxer is not transexual.

Imagine training your whole life for this Olympics only to be knocked out almost literally by a man. I see a lot of feminists are very quiet over it. No outrage from them.

She was born a woman, has been boxing women for the entirety of her career - she’s been beaten 9 times by other women. It’s amazing someone who has had 50-odd fights without much controversy and without being especially successful, is now such a danger to women and women’s sport. There are discussions to be had around how sporting bodies deal with these cases where people have sexual conditions, such as Caster Semenya previously, but people like yourself have little interest in detailed conversation and prefer to just lie and misrepresent. That people allow themselves to be so easily engineered to outrage should lead to some self reflection, but I won’t be holding my breath.

Yes, I have. Well, my perception is that there was a clear and potentially very dangerous mismatch of strength and power between the two boxers. Given that the Italian girl was, one would assume, at Olympic standard for her gender, the Algerian was not comparable in any metric. I wonder how long it will be before someone dies for the noble cause of inclusivity.

Yes, I have. You lefties really are an odd crowd. She might have been born as a woman, but she clearly ain't a normal woman. She either has birth defects that have made her masculinised, or she has been doing a lot of gear. She was disqualified in a previous tournament for having too much testosterone. Why I wonder? Why do people like you defend the rights of such an individual but not the greater interests of the sport or the safety of other boxers? What is it in people like you that make you so odd?

I know you’re in your little safe space on here but in the real world there is nothing odd about my view. If you had the bottle to communicate outside of your little bubble you might realise that. Funny enough, whatever guesses you want to make about her genitalia are completely meaningless. I don’t tend to go round trying to guess what people’s genitalia look like, but each to their own like. We don’t have to wonder why she has high testosterone: she has a medical condition. She also has a cervix, which in the previous manufactured version of this debate, was the criteria people liked for what defines a woman. Apparently that no longer applies as you are told to be outraged all over again. She has had 50+ fights and as far as I’m aware has not caused any safety concerns or serious injury to opponents. Nor does she have a particularly impressive record. So any suggestion this is ruining the sport or the safety of the other participants doesn’t seem very well supported in reality, not that that matters anymore.

I have been beaten by women on a few occasions. From my experience, women don't generally fight fair. I was kind of expecting the Italian woman to pull a broken pint glass out and thrust it towards her opponent. Or a knife.
