Me too now.
Thanks for the link.

An observation.

Boris Johnson will become Prime Minister tomorrow.

He has been put there by the votes of 0.14% of the people in the UK. That's 14 people in every 1000 have actually voted for him to do this job. It's even a tiny proportion of those who actually vote Tory.

Can anyone even try to defend this?

He doesn't represent the country. This is travesty of democracy.

The only way a Prime Minister should be chosen is by the representatives we choose and send to Parliament

It would be if we had one but we do not.
Being allowed a vote every few years then watching 'the winners' ride roughshod over the population is hardly democratic.
You've lived many years yet this penny is yet to drop.

Sadly.

What a terrible PM. The worst in living memory. Even if you removed Brexit it would be painful viewing.

This.

How they can criticise the EU as undemocratic after this latest travesty is beyond belief.

We are being seen as a basket-case abroad so it is only fitting that we have one crowned as PM.

No, not to the majority of those living on the mainland.
But hey, keep on dreaming.

I am no Tory, but seems a fair process to me.

Ask anyone in Europe disillusioned with the EU, the euro zone, anyone in Southern Europe who can’t get work. Ask all young people there, as opposed to those here who want to work elsewhere when many many do not want to have to work elsewhere now or in the future.

Cobblers to it.

You are one of the 0.2% of the UK franchise that did.

The other 99.8% did not.

0.0% of the "UK franchise" voted for Brown.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham
