If TFL was a commercial company it would have gone bust by now. The fault lies with Khan, TFL was going broke before COVID which just made matters worse.

If I was PM I would nationalise it and take it away from Khan after all why bail it out when somebody else is mismanaging it.

Unfortunately it means fare rises and redundancies the unions will blame the government but they should look to Khan for the cause.

Very true and maybe he will see he's been played for years and smell the coffee about who exactly his allies are, or were meant to be!

It's odd that the RMT amongst others was very keen for the government to take control of the railways as they had been mismanaged. Don't hear anything from them about the mismanagements of TFL.

Time to open the driverless train box

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

I can't see anything on his twitter today about the strike - maybe he hopes that if he sticks his fingers in his ears and sings la-la- la that it will all go away!

This tells the story regarding tube strikes and the ridiculous, posturing clown of a man that is Mayor of a now fading city.

another Tube strike today and what appears to be many more to follow.
Sad Dick is useless and needs to get this sorted out.
start making his middle management lackies redundant - most of them are overpaid and underworked.
You just cannot screw with the pension pot so find another way - I don't live in London and have no wish for the Government to bail out this loser with any more of my tax.
One of the worst men in power for many years in my opinion.

Lucky you those of us who do look forward to a massive increase in our council tax from Mayor Khan which my local council has no control over.

It stinks, what is the point of my council doing it's best to keep costs down while Khan can just pass his bill onto us.

Who’d have thought Bob Crow would be the less militant option?

Don't worry Badger - those of us out in the styx are about to see some very unpleasant rises as well.
Our local council has barely worked for two years and has had zillions of funding from central Government during that time but they are still blowing cash on absolute crap on a daily basis.

The Government has bailed out all of the rail companies through the pandemic a lot more than TfL and still are, but no one seems to mind that, but then it doesn't win them political points to slate how they are run does it.
The reason TfL was struggling before the pandemic was because of all the pointless and useless things that Johnson wasted millions on, unfortunately our right wing press seem to ignore that he was the worst mayor we've ever had.
£35,000,000 for a bridge that was never built , and all the fees given to his chums without and competition, still at least they weren't Russian I suppose.
