Come up with a decent plan for that and maybe there would be a little more support for this half-baked notion. Absolutely right. But to hell with supporters being inconvenienced in this manner, to hell with loyal long-term season ticket holders having to give up seats they have occupied for years and supported the club through thick and thin. At least we will have our flag-waving section centrally in full view of TV cameras and we can all rejoice as pundits drool over our "Unique atmosphere" - not that it has done much for our home results ! Not forgetting their mantra of "Selhurst is a hard place to go to" when our home record has been abysmal. And we will allow the HF branded as the 'Singing section' to continue to flout the ground regulations by their persistent standing. All for the "Greater good" of course. Good post. I wonder when they all stand up whether the stewards and the old bill will tell them to sit down.

The "unique atmosphere" is something that the fans have bestowed on themselves Originally posted by Willo
Not forgetting their mantra of "Selhurst is a hard place to go to" It is a hard place to go to if you want to go by car

I’d expect everyone will be up standing when the ball is in the box at The Holmesdale end, which probably happens a lot now, well when we attack it anyway.

On a side note, a friend of mine recently went to a PSG match and said the atmosphere was the best he'd ever witnessed. This will add to the match day experience (imo). Which I suppose has nothing to do with how PSG is marketed...

Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |
