Need I remind you that Richarlison is off to Everton for £50m including add ons. That's for a player who was awful for the second half of last season and hasn't scored since November. A lot of money for someone who is nothing more than a prospect. Yes that deal has more than raised an eyebrow and a few million on Zaha’s price.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle how we handle the sale (or otherwise) of Wilf could easily define the club for the next 5-10 years. whatever his price is, in one sense, not what matters. what matters is what we can do with the money (and other funds). what we do needs to convince the rest of the squad that we are stronger, not weaker. that will always be a concern & I think there's very little belief we'll nail it. as a proposition for a player of Wilf's class, I'm not convinced we're at attractive proposition either.
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |
