SP gave him a 1 year extension last year as a 'reward' for coming back from his ACL injury. I suspect we paid a large % of wages when on loan at Sheff Wed last year

I would not include him in the 25 man squad it would be a waste of a space. Until such time as he can prove his fitness or he runs down his contract he should be nowhere near the first team. In the meantime I would give one of the youngsters his place.

I keep an eye on one of the Charlton fan sites, this made me grin. Connor Wickham joined Charlton on a free a couple of months back. Charlton have a coup,le of strikers out injured for the season and are in desperate need of goals. Each match day when the squad is announced they all moan about lack of strikers in the team with the inevitable "Where's Connor Wickham, why isn't he on the bench at least" I think we know the answer to that. I think he's made one appearance, enjoy it lads that's it for the season.
