I think you'll find that 600 clad blocks are being examined, but this does not mean that they all have the same cladding. It was mentioned by TM that 100 such properties could be inspected in one day. So far, 11 (too many!) are reported as affected, but the total may be much less than 600.

Yep just heard on the news. Sure they said 600 had flammable cladding this morning, more than once.

As they are facts, can you provide sources for them all. You see the telegraph printed a load of cobblers based on what they'd read on Breitbart.

The claim that Kensington and Chelsea Borough Council is Labour controlled is an outright lie that is fantastically easy to disprove.
The fact that the new Labour MP for Kensington Emma Dent Coad once had a powerless position on the Tory dominated Kensington and Chelsea council betrays a very weak understanding of how local government actually works.
Ignoring the fact that Sadiq Khan was not even mayor of London when the decision to cover Grenfell tower in highly flammable plastic is obviously absurd, as is the ridiculous implication that the mayor of the biggest city in western Europe should micromanage every building renovation project in the city.
Trying to pin responsibility on Labour because the original construction date for the tower coincided with a Labour government is absolutely pathetic grasping. The problem isn't that there are 4,000 odd tower blocks in the UK, it's that many of them are deadly firetraps thanks to seven years of abject Tory neglect of housing policy, and their refusal to listen to expert advice that flammable cladding should be banned.

Nor should we expect the Prime Minister to do it. There is a tendency for the anger to hit the biggest target.

NOW HERE'S A BIT OF INTERESTING INFO WORTH GOING VIRAL...........

Before you join the Theresa May lynch mob here are some FACTS relating
to the Grenfell tragedy..

1. The block of flats was run not by the Council but by KCTMO. This body is made up of 8 TENANTS, 4 councilors and 3 independent members.

2 Labour hold the seat that the block is situated in.

3 Labour run the London Council who manage the under funded London Fire Service

4 Emma Coad the sitting Labour MP for that ward also sat on the KCTMO.

5 The advice to stay put which Sadiq Khan has been so vocal about was given by the London Fire Service.

6 The decision to change contractors during the refurb was made by KCTMO.

7 The decision not to spend an additional £138k on fitting sprinklers was again KCTMO.

8 The decision to create ALMO organisation such as the KCTMO was made under the Right To Manage legislation passed in 2002 as part of the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act.

9 This was put in place to give leaseholders and tenants a greater say and the ability to self manage, which in some circumstances has clearly proven to be flawed.

10 Which Govt was in a charge when this law was passed? It was Labour.

11 Sadiq Khan as mayor of London Produced a report to say that the fire service did not need further funding.

12 Emma Coad elected Labour MP was on the board of the Tenant Management group who are being accused of not listening to tenants.

It's a modern lynch mob encouraged by bitter Labour MPs who having lost a close election want to destroy an elected government for a chance of a second election.

Tory Cunds!!

You do not need a link as its all over the net if you care to look. All this link sh1t is exactly that. We can all find many links to justify a point we are making. My post is actual data and you can check on it if you like and do not need me to post a link or many links as it would be as each number of my post is many different dates but does not get away from who and when it all happened.

God knows why that bloke in the audience kept bellowing. It's inaudible on the tv. Should be 3 strikes and out, not about 12 rants. The audience should've grouped up on him and told him to shut up.

Yes they let it drag on for far too long. He as good as took over the show for about 10 minutes.

Yep. On the midnight r4 news they said that it was initially said by the government there were 600 but then they corrected it.
