Everyone calm down! Such speculation and pant wetting. From The Evening Standard: West Ham have also been linked with a move for Liverpool’s Christian Benteke, along with London rivals Crystal Palace but feel the financial package – transfer fee and salary – is too high.

What evidence. All we've read about are rumours I agree the evidence is circumstantial / flimsy - I based my comment on various newspaper stories over the past few days which have implied that it is Liverpool holding out for more. I won't be betting my house on this going through.

If I were Liverpool I would rather sell to Palace as Apposed to West Ham, Admittedly if the Spam come in with £30 Mil Cold hard Cash then I would definatly consider it, But West ham are potentially more of a threat to Liverpool as opposed to Palace (On Balance and based on League positions from the last 4 Seasons) So If I was going to sell to Another Prem club Palace would be more attractive.
