As an expat (with no plans to return at present) be sure that if I decide to come back and live in UK I WILL and no border agency will stop me!! For sure I have more right to be there than any Africans or any one else

To stay true to the thrust of my statement, it would be sensible to ignore sentimental attitudes toward ex pats. Having said that, they are and will always have been British citizens. So who would you prioritise ?

They're not going to be ripping the fences down are they. Thay can all re-integrate immediately, likely have accommodation in the UK and won't be entitled to benefits. Legally it depends if they're still citizens doesn't it, but it's fair to assume they left for a reason as have the migrants.

You seem to favour those with families here. That would likely apply to most expats.

I lived in Spain for 3 and a half years...and I came back,am I entitled to? And I knew loads of pensioners who came back. Claiming the pension that they have PAID into all their lives. always a Norwood boy, where ever I live.
