The way so many here are swallowing the Trump inspired propaganda about him being a victim of a Democratic political campaign by using the law to damage him is deeply disappointing.

The truth is that as the various cases he faces damage them much more than him, if they were interfering in the process it would be to stop it rather than enable it.

The truth is that he created these circumstances through his own actions, and not those of anyone else. If he is innocent then he will have more than an adequate opportunity to prove it. He will spend huge sums on expensive lawyers looking for any legal device to extricate him. He is loving the publicity and the opportunity to reinvent himself as a victim and a hero who will wipe the country of a corrupt government. He is doing what he always does by accusing his opponents of that he is himself guilty. He has done this consistently ever since he was tutored by his mentor, Roy Cohn.

Why others cannot see this I don’t understand. Why the Democrats are not pointing it out more aggressively is also a puzzle. I hope they have a yet unseen master plan ready to be rolled out this year that will take the wind out of the Trump sails and see him drift onto the rocks of history.

There is no such “narrative”.

It”s not being mentioned. The facts are being allowed to speak for themselves and for due process to run its course. Making comments could be seen as political interference and that’s being avoided.

Trump has a clear run at rewriting history and poisoning himself as a victim and a hero. That this clearly works with his gullible base is obvious. He is raising millions for his “defence fund”! More scamming of the vulnerable.

That doesn’t matter. They are always going to vote for him. Shooting someone on 5th Avenue wouldn’t be enough to change their minds so a little bit of trying to overturn an election is nothing to them.

It’s the independents who matter. Whilst it doesn’t matter what people here think it is still shameful to read people here buying into his propaganda. It’s also surprising as the only place I ever encounter it is on these pages. Which only goes to confirm what an odd place this is.

From what I'm hearing about what went on that was kept from Trump while he was president I'm pretty certain that Trump is coming for General Milley.....I'm not surprised he retired.

Not sure that's going to help him.

He'll be coming for others as well.....fully deserved.

Hey…we all know know it. Trump is a bit of an arse but Wisbech Eagle is an anti-Trump bigot who will never see victimisation unless it happens to one of his left wing tribe.

All very sad how someone veers so much from the reasonable centre ground. He’s an intelligent man so probably just likes the attention which is equally sad.

Here’s my advice. Ditch corrupt Biden. Ditch arsehole sexist Trump, Ditch the partisan heads of the FBI and DOJ and let’s start again.
