I know Rudi, and you know, and even Boris knows, thats why he conveniently stopped using the charts in his daily briefings, the same charts he was always pointing to showing us lagging behind Italy and Spain, until we surged above them, then the chart system was flawed! The reason we are the worst in Europe, as you know, was that Boris told us to all go out and socialise, to the football, down the pub, while the rest of Europe were saying stay in! It was the day after the parliament square celebrations for leaving the eu, Boris wasn"t listening to european leaders, we were free, we do it our way, until he realised his error, told us to stay in, or face a fine! That huge clanger by the CON servative pm is said to have cost half the 70k lives lost, i don"t dislike Boris, but no point pretending that was a huge error, sadly costing many, many thousands of deaths! All will come out in time, but Boris will be long gone when it does ! Dear oh dear you’re still doing it. Our deaths are probably 2/3 or less than what they’re reporting. Probably nearer half. Why don’t you wait until the year is over and then you can compare all deaths?

If someone diagnosed with Covid got hit by a bus four months later they were counted as a Covid death. If it’s a true figure then is the assumption that the health services in all these other countries is so much better funded and capable than the NHS?

Sorry I don’t believe this, I had a savage car crash in April and after I “came too”in A&E and apparently during the time when we “needed to protect the NHS” and they were at risk of being “overwhelmed” was actually their quietest period in history to the point they had to advertise on TV if you have cancer symptoms or stroke or heart attack please come to hospital, I don’t know anyone who’s had COVID 19 and I don’t know anyone who knows anyone who’s had COVID 19, to me, I genuinely think something bigger is going on or is on the horizon, and this is something to distract us from this , in my opinion , including all the protests and stuff , “The world has gone mad” and I wish I was raising my children in an earlier time

“This is a crisis, a large crisis.... in fact if you have a moment, it’s a 12 storey crisis, magnificent entrance hall, carpeting throughout, 24 hour portage , and an enormous sign on the roof saying “This , is a large crisis” - Edmund Blackadder |

I don't think the needed response, of a mass military-style compulsory testing program, is possible in our capitalist system. Nor will it solve other serious global issues like climate change. The soviet system, unpalatable to us, but successful in WW2, would have had a better chance of success in my view, for all its flaws. It is no accident that governments are redeeming socialist policies but it isn't going to be enough. Covid-19 isn't listening.

No, the point is under estimating, funny how matt hancock when this latest news about under reporting wants an immediate enquiry, but Boris on the actual crisis wants an enquiry, sometime, but not now, far to busy! Just more nonsense by the gov, either do both now, or both later, but no doubt some of the CON lovers will come up with a reason why thats not possible! Obviously the Boris enquiry would be whats happened up to now, so we can learn lessons, not the final enquiry on the whole crisis(thought i would get that in to save the gov.uk lovers the effort).

As the figures stand England has x10 the deaths in China but the total is being under-estimated? If we genuinely have x20 the death rate in China then the NHS has failed in spectacular fashion.
