Number of Covid recorded deaths for last week I think, split by age. But schools must stay closed and not many people of working age back working. Odd to think that most of the deaths have occurred in people older than the expected life expectancy in the UK.

I’m not the most political person, so please shoot me down if necessary. But I do love a conspiracy theory. 45K dead? No, it"s not true, more like 70k plus, don" believe the non carehome and unexplained figures, work on the 70k and then make your mind up .

Wait until you compare all deaths in 2020 to previous years, and country by country. Every country part from the few with tests have made the same mistakes with oldies going back into care homes. Boris Johnson hasn’t done at all well but you’re not being fair here.

What I think is often missed when people state figures like that is the reality that most of those people would not be alive today if this virus had never happened: It finishes off those with weak immune systems, who are already suffering from pre-existing conditions at the back end of life....many died 'with' and not necessarily 'of' but were described as such regardless. The number of people who only died of this virus on its own would be significantly smaller. I don't in anyway dismiss those that did, however I don't view the world changing economic response was or is in anyway appropriate.

Sounds like it"s past your bed time! I was merely stating the facts, wasn"t comparing with other countries, although we are the worst case in Europe, not being fair? Tell that to the 70k plus families!

Tell that to the 70k plus families! And yet you don’t know if we are the worst in Europe because we’re lumping nearly every death that’s struggling breathing as Covid. Other countries aren’t. But you keep saying it anyway.

I know Rudi, and you know, and even Boris knows, thats why he conveniently stopped using the charts in his daily briefings, the same charts he was always pointing to showing us lagging behind Italy and Spain, until we surged above them, then the chart system was flawed! The reason we are the worst in Europe, as you know, was that Boris told us to all go out and socialise, to the football, down the pub, while the rest of Europe were saying stay in! It was the day after the parliament square celebrations for leaving the eu, Boris wasn"t listening to european leaders, we were free, we do it our way, until he realised his error, told us to stay in, or face a fine! That huge clanger by the CON servative pm is said to have cost half the 70k lives lost, i don"t dislike Boris, but no point pretending that was a huge error, sadly costing many, many thousands of deaths! All will come out in time, but Boris will be long gone when it does !
