The BBC choose to sanitise his life, he shouldn't have been killed but he aint Dr King either. As journalist they have a responsibility to the truth, yeah right.

Journalism is now utterly discredited. Public mistrust is at an all time and they do not even make the pretence of trying to be balanced anymore. The New York Times recently run an opinion piece that argued for the Army to be used to bring the riots to an end. Probably the only piece the NYT ran that offered a counter-point to the whole 'legimate protests met with even more Police brutality' narrative.

But now has been forced to apologise for it. The NYT did not support it but has had to apologise for even running it. Quite incredible.

The Deviant Left now dominate almost the entirety of public discourse. Almost every arm of the establishment is bending a knee to it. How the f*** did it get to this?

Well at least one person has woken up and smelled the coffee. However I think it wrong to blame Biden same way as it's wrong to blame Trump. Blame the local politicians.

Only to the extent we all do. Massively so. But hey, this is all about our massive £980m fishing industry. That will help towards the UKs £130 billion lower GDP in 2019 than it would have been had it followed pre-EU referendum trends.

I have a UK job in a UK firm with no foreign exposure, no overseas investments and nothing directly to lose from Brexit. I do have many many friends in Europe who are both bemused and extremely sad.

I thought at one point early in the Brexit thread you stated you would lose your job, hopefully that didn't happen and apologies if I have mixed you up with another poster.
Are your friends bemused and sad because they are in Europe?

Poor guy, I hope he pulls through.

Buffalo Police issued a statement Thursday night saying "a 5th person was arrested during a skirmish with other protestors and also charged with disorderly conduct. During that skirmish involving protestors, one person was injured when he tripped & fell."

Well I am not. Maybe you misread something. Or perhaps you remember that years ago I worked directly for the EU's PHARE initiative where I went into many of the CEE states immediately after Communism fell. Which was 'energising'.

And no, in the end it will be such a farce we shall have no choice other than to go cap in hand to the EU for re-entry - unless we wish to be a servant state to another bloc such as the US.

Oh dear and you had been doing quite well recently. Maybe, just maybe the EU may have to come cap in hand to us, who knows, I don't and you don't tis a bizarre world we are living in

Oh I lost that job immediately as a result of the Brexit vote. The Americans moved it to Ireland. Same happened to lots of people.
