Haven’t seen any TV coverage of the horrendous shooting in Harlesden. 2 year old shot in the head ( has not died) and 3 other shot. Police state seems to be random and can give no more details, but say Operation Trident Officers involved. Needs more coverage surely

As for my children, they very much drive my thinking as does my understanding of human nature.

Only to the extent we all do. Massively so. But hey, this is all about our massive £980m fishing industry. That will help towards the UKs £130 billion lower GDP in 2019 than it would have been had it followed pre-EU referendum trends.

I have a UK job in a UK firm with no foreign exposure, no overseas investments and nothing directly to lose from Brexit. I do have many many friends in Europe who are both bemused and extremely sad.

Nope, you said you were personally affected. That's what I remember.

As for the comparison between the EU and the UK....it'll be initially tricky but ultimately we will come out better than if we had stayed.

Which will prove you utterly wrong of course.

Of course they will.

It's about blaming white society for their problems. It isn't going to change. It ensures ever more concessions and power shifts.

What leads you to be optimistic?

I guess it's my outlook on life I tend to be a positive take control / action person. On a daily basis life can look pretty discouraging but if you look at the planet over the last 50 years we now have more democracy and less absolute poverty. I have to believe that we can find sensible solutions to our problems.

However I do like a rant like the next guy.

Well I am not. Maybe you misread something. Or perhaps you remember that years ago I worked directly for the EU's PHARE initiative where I went into many of the CEE states immediately after Communism fell. Which was 'energising'.

And no, in the end it will be such a farce we shall have no choice other than to go cap in hand to the EU for re-entry - unless we wish to be a servant state to another bloc such as the US.

I like your attitude.

Solutions will happen....whether you like them or not is something else.

BBC at it again

[Link]

"There were highs, as when he, as a teenager in Houston, played American football for the 1992 Texas state champion runners-up Yates High School Lions.

There were lows, as when he was arrested for robbery in 2007 and served five years in prison.""

The man was a violent career criminal who went to jail on multiple occasions for violent drug related crimes.

How does the pregnant black woman now feel about him after he forced his way into her home with his mates and put a gun against her stomach whilst they ransacked her home for money and drugs. Maybe she should take the knee for Saint Floyd.

The BBC choose to sanitise his life, he shouldn't have been killed but he aint Dr King either. As journalist they have a responsibility to the truth, yeah right.

I think you're wrong but if we ever had a choice like that...I'm not going with the EU.

Maybe the UK should take the knee for the EU.

I'm sure if we grovel enough they will let us back into their club, at a price of course.

On the other we could just give them a Churchillian wave.

That blonde middle class lady bothering and questioning the young adults cleaning the Earl Haig memorial with ‘’EXCUSE ME, what have your done with all the vandalism’’ has been identified on Twitter. Oh dear. The people who had to say cheese to the young black girl’s camera phone people are proud of but the jumped liberal elite white woman is embarrassed to the point she’s deleted all her social media and her company claim they sacked her in February, even though there’s photos and contact details of her still on their website. They’ve now removed all of it. Oh and the photos of her circulating would get a ‘would’ on here all round.

Fantastic. Any links?
