Todays first download is a live set by Traffic but there was no info as to when and where this was recorded. It is however, a top quality recording of the band playing some real classics. The boot starts with "Shootout at the Fantasy Factory" then they play the classic "Low Spark Of High Heeled Boys" - one of my favourite Traffic tracks. The band also play "Light Up Or Leave Me Alone" - another classic. Steve Winwood is on great form for this one - it's a great bootleg and this is thoroughly recommended..... Todays second download is a set by Kiss that was recorded in Houston, Texas in September 1977. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from a soundboard recording of the show and sounds top notch. This show was the second night the band performed at this venue - I have the previous show, but the quality isn't as good. If you like Kiss - this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays first download is a bootleg by Joy Division that was recorded at The Paradiso, Amsterdam, Netherlands on the 11th January 1980. If you think this is familiar you would be right - this show has been posted before - but not this version. This version has just appeared on the net - a pristine Pre-FM Master Reel recording of the show. I've compared the two - this wins hands down... If you like Joy Division you must have this one.... it's the best sounding Joy Division boot anywhere!...... This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from a webcast rip. I've only posted a handful of boots and albums by this band - this is a good one, and if you like Radiohead this is one for the collection...... Some great EC tracks on this one - including "Layla" - a classic, along with "I Shot The Sheriff". I've posted loads of EC boots over the years - this is another for the collection. Todays second download is a set by The Smithereens that was recorded in New York City in 1988. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM Broadcast on WNEW-FM. I've not posted that many bootlegs by this band in the past - only a couple according to my files. This is a good set in great quality and is thoroughly recommended...
