Biden gets blamed for everything. If Palace lose to Spurs on Friday it will no doubt be his fault in some minds. Of course, Trump’s decision to ignore what the rest of the world has done and move the US Embassy to Jerusalem wasn’t in any way inflammatory was it? No it was an act of peace. Trump walks on water in the same minds and in his own is probably convinced he could and certainly deserves to be able to.

Trump is prey to the same funding requirements as Biden unfortunately and personally I didn't support what he did as many others didn't. However, the very important difference between someone like Trump and someone like Biden is that Trump is far more utilitarian than Biden. Biden spent his time bad mouthing all the people he's now escalating war against, no doubt to curry favour to win the Democratic candidacy. That has serious consequences in the real world. Major players won't talk to Biden, the House of Saud for example....people he slagged off. Trump on the other hand went out of his way to not make their business his business. He is known to get on with the Saudis and Putin. It's highly likely that the war with Ukraine wouldn't have started with Trump or would have ended in March 21 and it's certainly likely that BRICs wouldn't be so anti the US as it is expanding as an anti dollar alternative (with vast resources) whereas Trump and hence the US had a voice with major Arab players because he was far more cautious in what he said about them. Biden is a disaster with his 'small man' syndrome and the world is close to war. Thanks. Edited by Stirlingsays (25 Oct 2023 9.00pm)

Perhaps he was too busy practicing his acquatic abilities.

There is a big difference between “slagging people off” and standing up for some basic principles of morality. Cosying up to Putin was in no one’s ultimate interests, other than Trump himself. That war may well have ended early but at what cost? Putin had to be resisted. Not condemning what happened to Khashoggi or being concerned the Saudis don’t approve of US policy is a sign of weakness. It it was merely campaign politics then real politics will eradicate them soon enough. Wars like we are seeing don’t come about because of any one POTUS. They are much deeper rooted than that.

Netanyahu said that the world needed to unite to help it to defeat Hamas, Iran and Hezbollah. He said that if they don't defeat Hamas then Hamas will be coming to us real soon. Errr..... The reality is that a successful Israeli destruction of Hamas and defeat of its enemies won't be good for any European nation with significant Islamic populations. It means we will be attacked for our support. Personally I regard it as inevitable anyway because of the decisions this country took on non European immigration and continues to brainwash its population on. None of those attacks will be on my conscience thankfully. But nevertheless, it's irritating to hear make believe and fantasy from Israel just because they want you to support them.
