I’m hearing that Sean Dyche will be our new manager & will be given around £50m plus money made by any transfers to rebuild our squad.

Supposedly he is buying a Home in Beckenham.

Who would you rather hibs? What about Lampard?

I'd take either, thanks for asking, Dyche is safer but Howe would be more compliant, I'm starting to turn to Dyche because the football Pulis and Allardyce got us playing was nothing remotely like the stuff they did at Stoke and Bolton, and I could see us being similarly surprised by Dyche's astuteness.

and I think Lampard would be a bit of a gamble, I think he's OK if he can be there at the start of things but I'm not sure about him knowing how to take over a squad in transition, he'd spot good young talent but not make many canny buys - but it's only an impression, of course.

Paulo Fonseca. I heard a rumour a few days ago that he and our Chairman were in discussion. A brief look at his Google entry suggests (to me at least) that he's not someone we want. He's changed managerial jobs 10 times in 14 years. As a player he was with Porto for 3 years and never got a single game.

José Mourinho wasn't much of a player and neither was our very own Roy Hodgson

Dyche any day. Bar Mee, McNeil, Tarkowski, we've better players than Burnley and he could do more with the squad. There's nothing 'flakey' about Dyche. He strikes me as being as honest as they come. Whether he would regard us as enough of a step-up, I don't know. I hope he would.

Nor were Wenger, Sarri, Villas-Boas, Rodgers or Nagelsmann.

I must say Burnley are pretty dull to watch,i guess the players we have are more suited to Dyche ball,
But i can't see us paying £5 million to get Dyche out of he's contract.

Maybe i'm wrong though.

That is interesting and sounds very plausible dazza. But as we know there is many a slip twixt cup and lip.
