Just to say, he's got 3 goals in 570 league minutes (ie a goal almost every 2 games) & one in 2 cup games. Keeps it up and, as a minimum, it should help keep his value up! Personally I always liked him...I appreciate I'm in a tiny minority in that regard. ps, mods...hope this is the most appropriate thread for this. it was the best I could find. EDIT: 1 IN 2 cup games, not 1 as I originally thought Edited by Ginger Pubic Wig (06 Mar 2019 6.35pm)

I kind of like him too. But I just don't think he's good enough at the premier league level. I bet he'd do really well for a Championship club. Maybe that'll change with more regular playing time. He's still young. The good thing is we don't need him now. Michy, Tekkers, Ayew and (when not hurt) Wickham is a good striker lineup. Originally posted by Ginger Pubic Wig

I have put a link to the Gent site. On that page on the right had side 2nd one down it is going thru pages & comes along a 1-3 result which is a 3-1 win for Gent. If you watch all three of Gent's goals (one which he scores) it looks like Sorloth (No. 10) is being played more forward than we played him. He is around the penalty & six yard boxes waiting for passes. In the end does the way we play not fit Sorloth?

However, agree the majority. Sorloth had few chances with us; but the ones he had he did not take.

What's interesteing is that he has played all games for Gent as right winger in a 4-3-3 system. He can get inside and soot with his left foot but it's kind of strange that the manager relies on him making the entire right side up and down and coming in the defense as well
