16:59 It's been a quiet month for Crystal Palace and reporter Michael Bridge thinks it might stay that way. "My understanding is Palace never had an interest in Michy Batshuayi, while there is nothing in other stories suggesting Saido Berahino could be coming. "There was talk this morning of Everton's James McCarthy coming in, but again, I am told that is not the case, while I cannot see Scott Dann, who is very highly regarded here, going out on loan either. "But I have been told by some Palace directors, 'Never say never...'"

Drink driving ban, banned for taking drugs(blamed it on a spiked drink). Refusing to train and so on. Absolute waste of any talent he may have had. Will drift out of football now and only himself to blame.
