Really? Mason blew us out early summer claiming he would fight For his place at Spurs. I don't disagree your assessment and, if that club have now told him he is surplus, he would be perfect for us. I also suspect he would prefer south London to hull.

Yes I think we have gone past the 'eying' stage in paperchat terms and are now 'swooping' which I guess means a deal is being discussed but not signed?

I saw Remy play first half in Chelsea's u21 game at cobham last Wednesday. I couldn't believe it was him, he was puffing out of his arse after 20mins. Actually quite an amusing watch. This time last season I was desperate for this transfer to happen but now not so sure. He did show some good touches but if he does sign he'll have a lot of catching up to do on both his fitness levels and match Fitness. Hopefully pards can get him back to his levels from 2 years ago.
