Yeah, i think i set out 3 times for that game. Once, we got all the way to Nottingham then found the place shrouded in thick fog. Quality goal, Salako's was the equaliser wasn't it?

Rubins goal vs Liverpool in Worthington Cup semi-final, 2000/01.

If I remember correctly, it was a volley from 25 yards? All I remember was that it was from some distance.

Any of you older fans remember these two.....

Colin Taylor vs Scumwall (not sure of date, late 60's?)...left foot rocket.....think we beat the scum 4-2 that night.

Jim Scott vs Forest...early 70's...chasing a through ball towards the Whitehorse, the angle was getting more and more acute, the crowd were screaming, 'hit it, hit it'...he hit it....it flew in, SP erupted. Scott stood still in absolute amazement,.......pure palace magic....

As you can see below my favorite two are there.
The Andy Gray Goal at Villa Park does it for me! we were so close to going out after giving Liverpool a lesson in what it means to really support your team after being 2-1 up and then those jammy barstewards scored twice in as many minutes. I must put this down as my all time favorite goal it still gives me goose bumps to this day 14 years after, just listen to the roar from our fans.
And of course David Hopkin who could forget that after the year before losing in the last minute then reversing it the following year FANTASTIC!
EEEEEEEEEEAGLES
