Florida, Vegas, Hawaii, Tenerife.

Palma - Mallorca v Hearts UEFA Cup match - getting abuse from the Jocko's.

Sixfields, Northampton - wearing a Palace sweatshirt and receiving some quizzical comments from 'weed fans after they had been beaten.

Harry Enfield in his recent (so called) sit-com on BBC1.

I went to Ireland a couple of years back to a small village in the middle of nowhere (called Ballyorgan) with only about 20 houses and a pub. Went into the pub and found out that the landlady supported palace. Ended up giving her my adidas yellow away shirt (with the wide blue neck) and she pinned it on the wall in the pub. Still there today!

I wore my shirt to brighton, on a day trip, i got so many looks from people, and that would be a strange place for a palace shirt to be, i wore it with pride then.

Shirley Heights, Antigua (seen from a distance).

I was on honeymoon (got married there too) in 95 and staying in the same complex was Sean Flynn, then of Coventry (now Kidderminster). Just to make sure everyone knew who he was, he wore his own footy shirt to the bar in the evenings - quite sad.

Always wear mine if I am in the USA. Over the years I have had loads of people comment what a great shirt it is. Then I explain to them that it is a football shirt and it just confuses them. One horny young babe liked it so much, the promotion winning kit of 1997, that she wanted a photo of me wearing it and she thought it was a real cool shirt.

Took one to Peru and we went up to Macchu Picchu.

Me and my mate set up the camera positioned ourselves accordingly with shirt in hand ala new signing style pose and took the photo. Out of focus too!

Whistler Mountain - Canada

Yang Shou - China (where we managed to convince a local lady to pose in it for us - much to the humour of the locals around us!)

... what

Once when i went on Holiday i made friends with a few people from Leeds. This girl who was with them that i well fancied said she would only pull me if i wore her leeds shirt out one night. I did cause she was so fit and it was before all the controversy last season but i had my Palace sh1rt on underneath to stop the s*** seaming through into my body.
Anyways they all supported Leeds accept one kid in the group who supported Huddersfield, they all kept ripping the piss out of him so to make him feel better i wore his Huddersfield shirt out one night and he wore his away one, He taught me all the songs and we got very tanked up, ended up chanting field songs at the Leeds fans pissing them off in the process cause the the Huddersfield kid managed to add to his numbers. To thank me the next night we both wore Palace shirts and i taugh him all of out chants and pissed Leeds off more i.e. Nigel Martin felt sorry for you! So now i have a soft spot for Huddersfield and a certain bloke in Yorkshire has one for Palace with us both hateing Leeds in the process!
