I couldn't really give a flying to be honest, however,it got me thinking and there's quite a few fox related things that are capable of causing nightmares: I'm not pro foxhunting, however, I'd love to see certain "animal rights" activists p*** off on the next EasyJet to Spain in their plastic shoes and front some Matadors instead! Good stuff Matt Hep and Penge. As for Matt Himself, instead of blaming every Englishman for the actions of our forefathers rulers, consider the possibility that they treated the average Brit with equal disdain.& nowadays, as a British male, I'm amongst the most ostracised and discriminated people in this land.Rant over!

Personaly, whilst I the thought of a fox being torn to shreds gives me no pleasure, I can think of no better example of how this government is so fcked up that it has given priority to eliminating this essentially harmless pursuit. Mind you, it's amazing what politicians will do for the sake of votes. It's a nonsense and whilst I dont condone tha actions of those protesting I can understand their fury. The middle class country dweller, paying his taxes, struggling to buy a house because people from the cities have bought half the houses, watching the news as it reports on yet more murders, drugs and violence in London and the other citys.... And the government wants to interfere with something that is (and believe it or not I struggle to understand this bit) part of their way of life. To you or I it seems ridiculous, but in their shoes I would want to tell the Government to fck off and attend to real issues as well.

I would urge you not to take offence to Mr Himself's comments. Unfortunately he really is half rice half chips, and a bit of a two can van damme. It's due to this reason he dons a beer halo.

In fact RETURN 2 MAIDSTONE, forget it. You've bored me stupid with your lack of humour and Daily-Mail style self-pity. Poor discriminated you.

Foxes will now be poisoned or trapped etc which could cause just as long/painful or even worse deaths. It is not all pompass people that go hunting, just like when everyone seems to think everyone with a horse must have loads of money. Having horses myself I can tell you that I've met a lot of people that spend all their money on their horses instead of themselves(i do find that a bit silly). A lot of people I know go hunting, their just normal people that own a horse or two for their own personla pleasure. Now so many dogs are going to have to be put down, a lot of horses will lose their homes, people will lose jobs, and their livleyhood, think if your a farmer thats probably one of your only things to look forward to at the end of the week.

What really winds me up is the members of the public who seems to think that foxes are really "..cutey wootey little foxey woxey.." They are carniverous vermin and scavengers, have been know to attack babies when gaining access to houses and must be controlled by whatever method.

The fox hunting thing seems to be more about "class war" than animal welfare. I don't see anyone getting excitable about banning fishing. As for it being a "countryside issue", well in the 18 miserable months I've spent living in the countryside I have seen zero foxes. When I lived in East Croydon I used to see them all the time.

Should we be killing innocent foxes? If a fox breaks into a ckicken coop etc. and kills then sure the farmer has a right to kill that fox in what ever way he sees fit. The problem is foxes have a territory of only 3-8 sq.miles. How can we have the right to kill a fox that may live more than 10 miles out in the country and may never have come near to a farm. I see one of the major reasons for the foxes coming nearer to human habitation is due to the farmers destroying their natural environment. Many hedges and copses have been ripped up to allow greater profits for the farmers and in so doing has removed places where a fox can live with a good supply of food. If someone was to remove your local chinese/indian (what ever is your prefence) then obviously you have to go further away to get a take away, and it is common sense that dictates that foxes will have to do the same. Therefore I beleive that in some respects the farmers have brought this on themselves. This is also the reason more and mora foxes are moving into towns in search of food. I have personnaly worked on a number of farms and even with chickens and ducks etc. running free we never had problems with foxes. As long as the farm animals have somewhere secure to stay at night, when foxes do most of their hunting, then farmers shouldn't have problems. In conclusion, I really don't see the necessity to carry on this form of hunting, which I consider barbaric. I know some people say it is part of our heritage, but then we used to send children up chimneys and to work in sweat shops. Just because something has been happening for years doesn't make ir right! My final observation would be to see what has been happening in Scotland, who banned fox hunting in 2002. Have they had an increase in foxes causing problems? Do the farmers still hunt despite of the law?

Let's ban fox hunting because, unlike Reborn, foxes really are cute and cuddly. Instead, let's have crackhead hunting. We can keep the blood thirsty upper classes happy, whilst reducing drug related crime! Sorted!!!
