Not applicable to everyone obviously, but probably the most direct option is to go old skool and go down to the box office and refuse to leave until it's sorted to your satisfaction. The box office use to hide behind the phones back in the day and now it's email, website and social media. However you could try using it against then and use Facebook or the media site formely known as twitter, to drop a few messages about how they are ignoring disabled supporters. Might get their attention as they don't want messages like that for all to see. Pity though that they can't just talk to people and get it sorted out. Feels like the people on the front line don't have the authority and the people that do think it's beneath them to get involved in such matters. Always been like that in the box office (unless you could have got hold of Beryl to sort it out).
The trouble with computers, of course, is that they're very sophisticated idiots |

Trouble with this 'old skool' approach re: Disabled Supporters is that the box office doesn't deal with them, there is a dedicated dept/person to do so, the email address has already been posted earlier on this thread.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

I rang the person who's number was given out in an earlier post and it was always engaged with no way to leave a message. My fiance then sent an email on my behalf last tuesday to someone in the club who helps disabled fans and had helped me a lot in the past but I haven't had a reply at all!!

People shouldn’t be having this much trouble to do a simple thing like going to watch their football team. The club should hang their collective head in shame, I feel for you.

I've got to go in Box office to collect my ticket before game today. I wonder if they'll be people there ,who don't go online forums, that will be asking and or complaining about the card situation.

Quote Premier League Rule R6.2 (page 215). “A Club’s ticketing policy should: aim to promote greater accessibility by the promotion of flexible and imaginative ticketing schemes “ Rule R also has information on disability access.

Just to let you know the Football Supporters Association (FSA) are attending our CPISA committee meeting next week. We also have a slot booked with the club next week to discuss some digital ticketing issues and cases and we have our next regular meeting with the club booked for 27th August. Went in BO yesterday to have my Nantes ticket printed. Fortunately it was empty so I politely asked if i could have my West Ham ticket printed off (to save me the stress of queueing on the day). Apparently they can only print tickets off on the day of the relevent game. Funny, as they had no poblem printing them in advance 3 seasons ago when they lied that my card was in the post (all 2 or 3 of them that they sent).

Sorry, it's nothing to do with the topic, I'm just interested in how the journey is these days, having done it myself scores of times between 1972 and 1998 before moving to Hertfordshire.

Yesterday i went to London Bridge and then to Selhurst (as N Junction was closed) and on way home went to Blackfriars from Selhurst and got Thameslink to Abbey Wood. I live close to Abbey Wood so usually walk there and get train to Lon B and then fast train to Norwood J or sometimes i get overground to Whitechapel and then Elizabeth Line back to Abbey Wood (and in reverse going).

Thanks. That's interesting. I don't think Thameslink to Abbey Wood existed 'in my day'. Incidentally, the GB Olympic swimming team included one Abbie Wood. I wonder where she's from!
