Anyone who thinks Biden is capable or it is desirable for him to finish his term is likely in the same condition as Biden.

His " dignity " is unimportant , the ability to fulfil the office is.

It is clear that faceless and possibly unelected figures have been making the decisions for some time

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

No mention of policies, only candidates' personal traits.

Like it or not when judging the suitability of anyone to be President they matter.

Which is why Trump’s need to be constantly brought to the voters attention. Which should now happen again.

Meant to be what?

Another con job on the American people? More corruption? More illegal immigrants? More over representation of minorities?

Do you think after one election everyone could just shake hands and not think its one big conspiracy?

If you look at Harris's record when she was a DA, she was notably quite hard on Crime and first time offenders (and they tended to be minorities - something the Biden Campaign in 2020 did well to gloss over)

More over so, no one is a bigger con man than Trump, who even this weekend in his speech said countless baseless false statements that go unchallenged.

No but lets be honest, the American psyche and their politics are very much different to ours, Trump is walking Proof of that.

Trump was a billionaire who was ran initially as a joke to prove he rattle the cage and show the evident flaws in the US presidential System (he just happens to be someone who craves attention)

If you've seen interviews with Trump supporters at rallys you would know 80% of them dont even care about his policies.

All I said was they have to be bold...

You have posted less than 70 times in a year, none about politics, until now.
Forgive me if I don't take you too seriously right now.

Harris is as dodgy as they come. You can delude yourself if you like.
How low will the democrats stoop to stop Trump?
If you are looking closely, I think you have already seen just how low.
Stand by for race baiting, feminist nonsense, and even more of the usual Trump derangement.

I disagree, they care about border control, the cost of the green agenda, the identity politics being taught in schools and abortion.

Regardless of your view on these issues they are very important to the US electorate.

Very conflicting if you are concerned about open borders but but are pro abortion for example.

And posts like these are the reasons I havent posted about politics.

I have actually have an A Level in US politics so have always had an interest in this.

I dont think its about stooping low, the election is in 4 months and they need to confirm a choice, and she just so happens to be the VP who the President and the Clintons and many other top democrats have endorsed (except Obama, which is telling). She also happens to be African American and a Women - which you have kindly pointed out will be an a big thing Trump and his cult will push when it comes to race issues and the female votes (which by the way, since Roe v Wade was essentially reversed, women will more likely vote for another women whether people agree with it or not)

She may not be the best choice, but she is probably the most realistic given the time frames involved, and the fact Trump's campaign is full steam ahead. Bidens Campaign would transfer to Harris.

USA are still living in the Dark Ages when it comes the 3 main talking points that always get brought up around election time - Guns, Abortion and Healthcare.

If the Democrats want Harris to win , she must be seen as presidential.
Hence they must get rid of Biden now. Give her a few months to look important in the big chair.

Anyway, the US President is only slightly more involved than the UK monarch. A titular job. Eating cake, opening new tourist visitor centres , smiling for the cameras. Even a Millwall fan could do it.

"How did I do with the debate the other night? Kicked that all-broken-down pile of cr*p. He just quit."

"I got him outta the race. That means we have Kamala... She's so bad."

1st gloss Harris doesn't stand a hope.

She has come in with plenty of failure baggage and a nickname of "Kakling Kamala" due to her nervous laughter at all the wrong moments.

She is female and minority which will get the backs up of a lot of Americans who instinctively turn against Woke.

However, she has a decent chance of garnering a great deal of the US electorate who just happen to be minority or female or indeed young. That is a lot of numbers if they bother to turn up.

And don't forget those who turn up every 4 years and vote Democrat whoever it is. That is also a whole big number.

However, her greatest trump card (ho ho) is her rival. She is not him. He is the living breathing definition of marmite where nobody thinks he is OK or doesn't mind him that much. It is love or hate. And the latter may not have bothered to turn up if the only alternative was Biden.

And she is young. If he wins, Trump will be as old as Biden when he comes to the end of his term. Do US voters really want a repeat of all that?

Agreed - she has been rather clunky in the past in some debates etc. (apparently the last 4 years she has also had extensive media training for when the election or 2028 came around)

the only caveat is the President is head of the Armed Forces, can pass 'executive orders' and pardon - but yeah could get a millwall fan to do the monarchs job I agree with that.
