What a silly post. The best reporting I’ve seen on this thus far has been BBC which has had some great interviews from those in attendance. What outlets have been saying Trump slipped? Not first hand experience by me, but my wife who is a light sleeper, was on social media early in the morning and remarked that some of the American news outlets had Trump slipping over on stage. They presumably weren't covering the event.
hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing. |

I should imagine it's going to influence independents because when you look at the language the democrats use and direct at Trump it's easy to see why this happened. Criticism is fine, but the hatred is off the charts and promotes action. People have been predicting this for months now. Edited by Stirlingsays (14 Jul 2024 11.20am)

"It's time to put Trump in the Bullseye" - Biden said 5 days ago. He should be arrested for inciting violence.

It's far too early to reach any conclusions on what went wrong with the security, although that's not stopping some reaching them. There are questions needing answers. I heard an eyewitness say that they could see the shooter on the roof 2 minutes before the shots were fired and that the police were alerted and reacting, at which point the protection team around Trump should have been informed and removed him from the stage. These guys are professional Secret Service staff, not campaign team members. Something seems to have failed with the communications but what and how remains to be seen.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

It's far too long to repeat in full but these are some paragraphs from it. Whatever your political beliefs might be it must surely be plain to all where the divisiveness in the USA is originating:- "After tonight's events I have come to the realization that I no longer want any association whatsoever with any liberals. None. Not in the community, not at church, not anywhere. The reasons for this decision are rooted in the belief that being around these people poses a threat to our sanity, safety, and families. First and foremost, the constant bombardment of liberal ideologies and beliefs has become a source of mental and emotional exhaustion. The never-ending debates, the constant need to defend our values, and the relentless pressure to conform to their worldview have taken a toll on our mental well-being. These people are insane and in associating with them we allow their madness to infect us. In these tumultuous times, it is more important than ever to remember President Trump's inspiring words from tonight as he got up off the ground: "Fight! Fight! Fight!" as we continue to battle for the soul of our nation, our culture, and our people. The forces that seek to undermine our values, traditions, and way of life are relentless, but so too is our determination to preserve and protect all that we hold dear." It's this attitude which lies at the root of the problem in the USA and for which I see no obvious solution. People are living in parallel universes.

Torba is essentially right, separation via secession is the inevitable solution to what's happening. Let people live how they wish to. The Democrats can then continue to run their cities into the ground and have as many late stage abortions as they like.
