A vote that will change as their economic circumstances change. Voting preferences aren’t determined by religious beliefs. They are determined by individuals. Even when those individuals have their vote determined by someone else.

Which makes what is happening with Starmer and this Gaza debacle so fascinating because this is modern power politics writ large. The financial, and often hidden power, of the Jewish lobby v the much noisier and electorally impactful Muslim vote. But lets focus on Anderson. One of the few genuine working class Tories who might actually be able to harness the utter disaster that the Tory party is going to be by the end of the year. Events of the last 10 days or so are very telling about how the future of British politics is going to pan out. And the choices people are going to have to make.

Even when those individuals have their vote determined by someone else. We know it happens. I guess it always has without attracting the same level of attention in all male dominated societies, especially where illiteracy exists . How widespread it is, is another matter. It’s a good reason for IDs to be required and strict oversight of procedure to be enforced.

The idea that the kind of attitude displayed by Anderson, and indeed by Badenoch, would ever be attractive to a majority of British voters , seems nonsensical to me. They are merely part of the noisy minority headed by Farage and Reform. Their voices need to be heard so their ideas can be defeated by the commonly held decent standards of the majority.

Here it starts
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

Indeed postal voting is where the real fraud happens. Multiple people living in the same house with multiple identites is one fraud. The other fraud is the local politician telling "his people" to obtain a postal vote and he will pop round and fill it out for them. Why would they do that? Because back in the home country his family have the power to destroy their families so why wouldn't you. Getting on the electoral roll can be all too easy and certain Labour councils don't seem to bothered about doing their checks properly, I can't imagine why. I think in the Tower hamlets case there was one 3 bed semi that has 30 plus registered voters and nobody noticed.

Also lets not forget that Anderson was made Deputy because he represented the white working class Tory wing of the Conservative Party. And now...effectively thrown out. The Tories DONT WANT OUR VOTES. How much clearer can it be now? They are determined to lose the next general election. It cannot be any less blatant.

You are a cynic. With modern biometrics I very much doubt any passport bought in a pub will get you anywhere, other than in trouble. As someone who believes that voting I D ought to be introduced and probably will be I think any real problem can be handled. I may be a cynic…I suggest you read some of the comments and links that others have contributed to this discussion further on in the debate and you may notice that being a cynic is not unfounded.
hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing. |

If you read what the guy writing it says he accepts he doesn’t speak for all Muslims. He also says that many of the problems faced are shared with many other Brits! I find it encouraging that someone is encouraging the use of our democracy to address grievances. Much better than encouraging terrorism.

Thank you Badger for this. I also mentioned this last year, I believe & was shot down(by certain lefty posters) that I was lying, it never happened & that THEY knew better. So, again thank you.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |
