Lets not forget that Roy said the sports science people told him to be careful with Olise(again), Roy ignored that concern last time, will he again?

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

If he ignores them then he really has lost the plot. I reckon Olise will be on the bench. As always we only get half the story, but to be fair they probably dont want the Blades getting tm info.

Good news for a change. If only Doucoure could make a miraculous return akin to the second coming. I know it won't happen but the optimist in me wonders if we might seem him in March/April. Probably not really.

Not a cat in hells chance. He ruptured/tore his achilles. In general terms that's a season. So maybe if all goes well in pre season then just maybe the start of next season

Reporter: Well Roy, another 0-0 result when you could have done with a win against the side bottom of the league. What's your take on it?
Roy: Well to be fair to them, they're a tough well organised side and Chris Wilder has come back and got them all fired up. It was a tough game and we'll have to respect the point.
Reporter: Stats indicate that Palace had only one attempt on target, do you think you could have done more to win the game Roy?
Roy: Well they are a well organised side and it was tough to break them down. I've heard talk that I should be using the youngsters more often, and so I did, bringing two on at the 95 minute mark. Problem is the ref blew up for full time straight after. It's difficult to factor in a contingency plan for that sort of thing happening.
Reporter: Er, yes Roy. Oh, here comes Steve Parish, he doesn't look best pleased.

Our weakness in the air wont be lost on Wilder we'll need to keep everything crossed that Olise is fit and we have sufficient quality on the pitch to play as much of the game as possible in their half.

I'd expect they will try to work our flanks and force as many corners and free kicks as possible. Difficult to call IMO.

From where I sit - with the quality we have in our squad, compared to theirs - tomorrow should be a walk in the park - no problem..!!

But we all know with Roy in charge it’s going to be angsty..!!

I can’t believe he’s still in situ - until this changes we will keep under achieving- it’s that simple..!!

As I’ve said before - I’m saying a nervous 2-1 to us - after them scoring first..!!

If we sit back tomorrow, defending as narrow as we usually do, Chris Wilder will have them banging it long into the box every chance they get. Henderson will be need to be more commanding than he was at Arsenal last time out, or we could be in trouble.

We will quite rightly have this earmarked as a game that we could and should win.

What we mustn't lose sight of is that so will they.

If Olise plays then I think we'll win.

Would not be surprised if Sheff Utd try to kick Eze (who can forget his wonder goal against them a couple of seasons ago) and Olise (if he plays) off the pitch. Without them we will find it very hard to score.

I wish I could say that CL or international breaks have historically been good for us in terms of pre match preparation for a fast start in the next game, unfortunately I don't feel that's been the case - The fact that they played Saturday & dont have a good enough squad to replace large numbers of players for tonight should allow us to stretch them at least in the latter stages of the second half, personally I hope we have the game won by then but as we all know this is Palace were talking about.

The 10 day mini break should act as another reset opportunity so fully expect a different mindset and performance! We essentially have the same side (minus Chiek add Michael) available as when we started the season with such optimism.

The first of 3 home games left against the bottom 3 clubs might provide a different picture soon.

Other than the first game of the season we have not dominated any games! Time to start tomorrow!

3-1 Palace (60% possession)

We need that ball in Sheffields half from the off and if they get physical make sure it’s in their 18 yard box! I can’t believe how bad we have been at home this season and Roy’s inappropriate comments have not helped.

He gets it wrong tonight and he deserves everything he gets from the crowd with plenty aimed at Parish too! The only consistency at Palace at the moment are the fans and they have backed the club to the hilt, but their patience is wearing thin now!

Somehow we will win 2-0, a penalty from Eze and most probably an own goal!
