It's because even though the police have subsequently admitted their failures in these cases Robinson might have jeopardised an elaborate covert investigation. Had one actually been happening. Yep, no doubt they had James 'right on' Bond around a few late night kebab shops just about ready to crack open the whole grooming gangs operation. And then old gammon Robinson comes along and puts the willies up the grooming gangs. No doubt they would have welcomed it as a refreshing change.

I'm sure it's difficult but that's kind of their job. They even call them detectives. Even if the most skilful professional isn’t given the tools he needs then they aren’t going to be very effective at doing their job. Sometimes blaming the tools is true! Imagine Michelangelo trying to paint the Sistine Chapel ceiling without a scaffold or a paintbrush!

It wasn't as though they had nothing to go on.

Perhaps that’s why their conviction rate has increased? That though alone won’t eradicate the barriers. Recruiting more from the ethnic minorities is a definite improvement.

Yaxley-Lennon made a lot of money from “contributions” by his “followers” who supported his campaign. He was also paid a salary by a right wing media outlet and earned money from book and video sales and personal appearances. He managed to build a nice house and accumulate assets estimated at in excess of £3 million. He managed to hide them by transferring ownership to his wife and declared himself bankrupt to avoid paying the £100,000 fine and legal fees when he lost the latest case against him. So how much of this did he donate to the children he claims to be so concerned about? Not a single penny, so far as we know, and you can be sure we would have been told.

Asian Grooming Gangs.....says the BBC. Not 'pakistani Rape Gangs'. Asian Grooming ....sounds like the Chinese nail bar in Better Call Saul.

I disagree. He was never on the right side. He has a much bigger anti-Islam agenda he is following and the grooming scandal was seen as an opportunity by him to promote it. He wasn’t at all interested in the victims as evidenced by the total lack of support he gave them. This was simply a way to wind people up. Not any genuine concern.
You are an apologist for all things immigration and all things globalist.

Has there ever been a nastier concept expressed here than the idea that those impacted by the Windrush scandal were just participating in an “anti-white shakedown”? There have been some pretty appalling things said in these pages but this has to be the bottom.

Well I suppose the guy who stumbles onto gay nudist beaches knows all about what's needed to get to the bottom.

I think most of the population are sick and tired of all things immigration, and that is demonstrated by numerous surveys. Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (16 Jan 2024 8.09pm)

Yeah Robinson's just swimming in cash, funny how this guys misses out all the legal fine and costs that his state enemies constantly apply to him. The very establishment that allowed these rapes to happen to an 'underclass' they happily ignored and couldn't give a damn about for decades until finally embarrassed into action by the Times. If he wants to complain about how Robinson gets his main bulk of his funding then he only needs to take another trip home to Israel. Edited by Stirlingsays (16 Jan 2024 8.14pm)

You are an apologist for all things immigration and all things globalist. That’s unequivocally untrue. I have consistently criticised in very strong terms the evil men involved and only today described what I think their punishment should be. Criticising Y-L is totally consistent with that because he makes things worse, not better. Nor am I any kind of “apologist for all things immigration”! What a nonsensical idea. I want to see the illegal immigration controlled as much as anyone. That I understand the need at present for controlled immigration where skill shortages exist is entirely sensible. Apologies are unnecessary. Yes, I accept we now live in a global economy because I accept we now live in a changed world. You don’t. You live in a bubble of yesterdays.
